my first batch actually bought from B&H....
can only buy 3 to skip GST... tat was 2 years ago.. now price apparently has gone up.

The more epic one is below;
Amazon made a huge mistake, sending a 110v one which cannot be used.. think their website put wrongly the voltage.

If you slowly browse page by page on this thread, you will find a few users here. Not many like the bulky size for this blower.

i have tried dust blower, if your system already used and not clean for sometime, its not very useful as the some dust is "stucked" how u blow also won't come off...

need to regular Blows to do the Job lol...

they won't come off even if u use other blower or compressed air also what
the moisture cause them to stick onto the surface, need to use finger and cloth to rub them off

when i first bought it i tot its gonna do miracles lol...

as mentioned, so need to do regular blows lol for maximum effect...

Get a good 1 inch paint brush and use it in conjunction with the DataVac. Works wonders!

its indeed very cheap compare to others 100++..is the wind strong enough to blow all the dust even in small tight place?

if its good, im gonna hoot this istead of metrovac

just blow only..

or get a vacuum cleaner to suck it away ?

The plug rated at 250V 16A, not the blower required 16A to operate.

600w is not equate to 16A at 230v Singapore power.

Super365, rating on cable is what the cable can carry and in your case is 250V, 16A. Your blower has its own rating too, and is likely to be lower than that of the cable.

My Metro Datavac Duster also comes with 2-pin round 250v/16A plug, but the duster rating is only 230V/2.3A.

So do not confuse cable rating with appliance rating. In short, cable current rating should be higher than that of the appliance connected to.

As shown in my image, I use $1.50 adapter to connect the 2-pin plug.

Sure, it will works, no issue at all.

The blower required only 600w, only about 1/5 of our 230v 13A (3000w) AC power.

I looked at the manual, box, site and only found the box says 220-240V 50/60Hz 600W. No mention of how many A anywhere. Can estimate how many A?

Approximately 2.6ampere, a long way before you hit the 13ampere output.

Power (W) = V (Voltage) x I (Current)

600 = 230 x I

so I is about 2.61A.

220-240V does it mean that it needs any voltage between 220-240V to work? That means it can work in any of the countries that has the voltage from 220 to 240V.
