Hi guys, just checking if the gateman or yale lock is compatible with the RM pro? Thanks

Broadlink RM Pro using radio-freq of 433mhz/315mhz, so u must check ur digital lock whether it comes wit RF remote control on 433mhz or 315mhz, if yes, probably u can use it wit RM Pro too.

I believe there shouldn't be any issue to connect more rm pro to an app, just lik the rm bean mini.

Yes, we can use the app on ur mobile network to control ur rm pro back at home. :s12:

Just check, apparently only Yale works. the sale guy told me Gateman, Samsung cannot use with RM. not too sure if this is really the case.
Some Asus and Samsung can work with zwave.
Xraiseallin - have you found out anything?

the Gateman z10 does have a remote, but cant find anywhere that the remote is using what radio-frequency though. (chking with a frd who owns it)

but if the remote control RF is 433mhz, i believe RM pro shld be able to learn the code and operate the Gateman as well.

Got no problem learning various remote, tc2 broadlink switch with rm pro on ebroadlink app.
but my goal is to get alexa to control them. echo and echo dot

Is it possible to link Broadlink TC2 to Alexa?
1)I tried using RM plugin with samsung S6 As A alexa bridge. I was able to test the alexa device after creating it in rm plugin. but im having difficulty getting alexa to locate device after creating it.
2) I know IHC eliminates rm bridge but how do i fool it to think my TC2 Broadlink switch is a remote tv.?

pls advise... been cracking my head for a week nw

for ur qn1. unable to answer as i nvr try that b4, im using IHC linkin to Alexa. just remember the Alexa can only recgonise ''tv remote'' template on ihc app, but there are tweaks to overcome this. refer to link below.

for ur qn2.

How is the TC2 wall switch? Working well? I wanted to get it too, still awaiting 'approval'. :look:

Recently are you all facing problems with your RM pro and alexa?

I have been trying to command Alexa but it replies that it is not getting a response from TV.

I have had to re power my RM Pro before it gets back to normal against

However, after an intermittent period, I face the problem again.

I have the E-remote app and recently updated it.

On my Android, I tried to access App but it keeps saying software error.

How to resolve the problem?

Fanco fan remote is IR... Shld be fine. In IHC u can create a TV remote for each speed, on the ON/OFF button.

So u created three TV remote, Rename them "Fan speed low" etc. So when u use Alexa, just say "turn on fan speed Low" and it shld work.

With new Alexa app updates, u canuse routine which u can rename ur whole command to anything u wish, for eg. "fanco speed low" and add the relevant control to the routine.

Now u can either say the "turn on fan speed low" or "fanco speed low", both will send the same command to turn on ur fanco fan which is inline of sight to ur rm pro, or rm bean mini.

I do get that sumtimes but srems lik it resolves on its own. However, Alexa says tv doesn't response but it still manage to turn it in/off though. :look:

Ok it works .....
Learn the Fanco Fan remote into the RM Pro using the IHC app
Then do discovery on Alexa n ta da......
But there is a catch.....the Broadlink skill on Alexa can only be used for TV only
So, gotta cheat Alexa by telling the fan is a TV lol

The commands I use to control the fan speed:
Alexa, change channel to 1/3/5 on Master Fan
Where 1-Low. 3-Medium 5-High
You can use any channels to learn the remote

The disadvantage is that I can’t control the devices remotely

great!

by the way, u should be able to control ur devices remotely with e-control/IHC app. what is the issue u encountered ?

I have been activating the 'Scene' mode at my hse nearby bus stop to startup my living room so when I get home, some lights are on, TV/cable box r turned on n playing somehting on TV alrdy.

UPDATES:
besides that, Alexa new app does have on / off switch, run routine function. I tried the run routine function before i reached my hse, it works via mobile network too. therefore u shld be able to control ur devices remotely via Alexa app,e-Control or IHC app. :s22:
