hi, i'm also using rm-pro and have kdk fan. But the problem is the On and Off signal is the same. So sometimes when i ask my google home to off the fan, it turns on the fan when it's off instead of staying at off. are you having the same problem? or you have a solution to this?

same issue here.
The root cause is that the fan has only one IR frequency to toggle between on/off.
RM Pro or GH won't know if the fan is in On or Off state, it just send out the IR frequency to change the status of the fan.
Sometime, the RM Pro shoots the IR for sometime (you can see the amber light is on), hence my fan will just on and the off again straight away :(

You might have some luck finding the discrete IR codes in the Sure Universal Remote app if your phone comes with an IR blaster. Then get Broadlink Pro to learn the discrete IR code from your phone.

Hi does anyone knows how i can set the rm pro to set timer for aircon to on and turn off every 15 mins? example start/on at 5.00am and off at 5.15am and start/on again at 5.30am etc ... so basically every 15 mins interval

I tried to use the timer but only can go up to 15 max and also it's troublesome. i need to manually set it.

I also tried the scene setting but max only 5 mins.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Seems like there is a new update to iHC on 9 dec.... Anyone has tried out the IFTTT feature?

I was thinking of hooking up sensors which could trigger rm pro via IFTTT...

Yes it works.

You can test by just create a IF trigger button and That action for any broadlink on/off action on you hp. Then create a widget on your hp home screen and click on the button to see if broadlink triggers the cmd.

Those IOS users please note that the latest IHC app is giving some problems.
The new lamp template in IHC is not showing up in google home.
Latest update now have quite a few new templates (like fan, audio)

Hello, is there any S1 or S2 users here? May I find out whether the door sensor or PIR sensor sends a notification when the door is closed or when a person leaves the premise?

Hi, I've tried. The notification only appears when door is opened or person is detected. You need to arm the alarm for the notification.

Thanks hAiZzZ86... Hmmm doesn't look v useful then... I wanted a PIR sensor to switch on the lights automatically and switch it off when no one is around... Might get the Sonoff RF bridge then... Can support cheaper RF sensors and has this loop timer feature to "disarm" the sensor.

How to set up Fanco RF fans on Broadlink RM Pro+?
If you have the physical remote, you can get iHC to learn the RF frequency. If you are using eControl, you might have some luck in finding ready templates for Fanco fans.

I used iHC to learn the RF codes from the Fanco remotes n they worked now

The sensor is able to switch off the lights automatically. But it will not send any notification. I thought u were asking if there is any notification when there is no one around. The notification I meant here is an alert that will send to your phone.

I'm currently using the motion and door sensor to on and off the lights

Ah... Thanks.. So it can detect that no one is in the room and switch off the lights? That's good then :)... I read that Shaboi was trying to pair other 3rd party sensor with S2. If that works, it's truly a blessing then...

Yup it's able to. Using it in my kitchen and bomb shelter to on when someone walks into it and off when it detects no one. Can also set it such that it only switch on in the night only.
Pairing is very simple too. Just need to scan the QR code.

Bought an extra motion sensor. Let me know if u need it.
Willing to let it go at cheaper price.

Can I check how did you set up your bomb shelter/storeroom?
I intend to add a RF light switch (non-neutral) with a door sensor, so whenever I open the door, door sensor will part and send a signal to the hub, and then the RM Pro will send a RF signal to turn on the light switch.

I was told the RF signal won’t be strong enough to penetrate the bomb shelter.

Is that true?

I did it the same way u described. No problem with the rf signal.

Hi medscy, sorry for late reply, didn't log in here as frequent now.

I have broadlink rm pro setup, and added broadlink's own S2 alarm kit which consists of door and motion sensors. The sensors work great together with rm pro, some example that i have done is...

1) door sensor in storeroom, everytime i open storeroom, triggers the sensor and rm pro will shoot rf signal to on my storeroom light (via storeroom rf switch)

2) door sensor in main door, i set criteria after 6pm daily, when main door opens, triggers the sensor and will ask broadlink to activate a scene which i have put in essential lights like chandelier, sidetable lamps, livingroom fan, decor lights, etc.

i tried to use digoo door sensor(3rd party, non-broadlink) but unable to 'pair' to broadlink's s2 bcos no QR to scan and no s/n to enter therefore im unable to make them work.

i saw you ask about the broadlink motion sensor, yes, it can detect motion and trigger a scene/turn on a light, tried and tested working but personally i never really use it, what you can do is to use the motion sensor to trigger a scene like turn on sideway lights when motion detected etc.
