Thanks for the concise info.

Personally facing lotsa issues with S2 with ihc. At time, e triggers even disappeared. Nt sure if its ihc or s2 but in my opinion terrible.

Delete the triggers on IHC and give it a shot on e-control and see how it goes for a couple of weeks.

If I may add, check your WiFi connections to your rm pro and S2 gateway for interference. Do you even have intermittent problem triggering your switches from ihc? The Internet connectivity also plays an important part because the HA intelligence is on the Broadlink cloud. Basically from s2->Broadlink->rm pro, u will have more points of failures.

But of course, a lemon S2 with a bad sensor could be the cause too... But u can easily test the sensitivity by seeing the Led on the sensor.

I have set up RM mini to talk to air con successfully. I can control it using IHC. However, when I linked Broadlink with Google Home, GH can’t seem to find the air con device. Can anyone help? FYI I can see and control the TV in GH, but not that air con.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
May I know if I just change one end of the original 2-way switch with a smart livolo switch (also 2-way), and keep the other end original.. will this works?

If you didn't change the wiring configuration, you should not on your second 2-way switch. Else your Smart Switch status will be the other way round.

Through ihc direct control of e switches, etc, all r working perfectly. However through sc2 triggers. Cant get the trigger tp work properly with the rm pro+ to the wall switches.

The door sensors r definately working. Jus tat when i start to i tegrate the wall switches to the sc2 triggers than prob arises

Try to sign out from Broadlink Smart Home under your Google Home app, force close the app, reopen it again, and sign in. You should see your air-con.

Moved to econtrol. Everything works now. Guess IHC after a year still is buggy... :(

RM Pro + Dooya DT52E-45/20 Curtains and Google Home

Hi All,

I have the following:
RM Pro/Pro+
Dooya DT52E-45/20 Curtains

They are configured using the lamp template and work perfectly.
However they can only be configured using the off button hence i have created 2 accounts consisting of lamp, lamp1.

The commands are

turn off lamp - to open curtains
turn off lamp1 - to open curtains

My pertinent question is HOW DO I CHANGE THE GOOGLE HOME COMMANDS TO

OPEN CURTAINS
CLOSE CURTAINS
?

Thanks
Damien

You can't issue that command to a seeming "light", can you? :p So the workaround is to create 2 GH routines called "open curtains" and "close curtains" which actions are to "turn on curtains" and "turn off curtains" respectively.

I have already done that too.

And playing with the naming. With the routines, it will read “turn off c1” to close the curtains and “turn off c2” to open curtains. Can I use ifttt to say “close curtains” and “open curtains”? Anyone knows? Thanks

hahaha.. if you are concerned of the chattiness of GH, you can add one more command before activating the curtains by "setting volume to 0%". Then once done with the curtains, add one more command to revert the GH volume. :p

Set your trigger word or phrase and then pick the device to turn on/off/change state.

You can type out word for word what you want your Google Home device(s) to reply you.

You can just customised your Google home routine under settings.
When you issue command "close curtains"
Broadlink will activate turn off c1.
