I am a bit adventurous, I use this WIFI switch. You need neutral line for this.

Guys, I am new to HA and like to know if I have 2 gang 2-way switch, will it works if I just replace one end to a new livolo 2 gang 2-way RF switch & keeping the original 2-way switch on the other end? then control the light by using BL/ AA? Thanks in advance!

Need some help setting up my RM Pro with Google Home

I managed to add it as a service, and it does pickup "2 devices available" - I have 2 scenes in the IHC app. However I'm unable to find my scenes in the GH app. Anyone have any idea?

Under general settings/setting/assistant/routine you can create your own command to activate the scene in your IHC.

I actually removed the second way and just use the smart switch.

I think only the devices would appear in GH.
Don't think the scene in IHC will appear in Google Home or any other assistants...

All IHC scenes should be there for you to choose.

Relink your BroadLink Smart Home under GH app Home control. After that, screenshot and show us here what is available. Easier for us to help you troubleshoot from there.

First, you need to identify which one of the 2-way switches is the one with the wire going to your light (this switch is call Out Switch in the diagram below). And the other 2-way switch is the Live Switch in the diagram below.
Now, connect the L1 from Live Switch to the Live wire (red line) of the Live Switch. Then, connect the L2 of Out Switch to the Live input of your new Smart Switch. And, then, connect the Out wire (black wire) to the load input (usually is call L1, L2, L3 or L4) of your new Smart Switch.
Finally, connect a neutral to your Smart Switch.
You are good to go.

Hi, anyone have any issue with broadlink on their Airconditioner.
My Echo only recognize it as thermostat now. Previously, Echo recognise it as air conditioner which i can still turn on and off in my routine but now, i can only allow to adjust the temperature which is quite weird.

Try to use e-control for triggers and scenes. More reliable.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
May I know if I just change one end of the original 2-way switch with a smart livolo switch (also 2-way), and keep the other end original.. will this works?

So under wat circumstances do i use econtrol and when doni use ihc?

Personally, I only use IHC so that it can sync with the Broadlink Smart Home app under my Google Home app. So once I’ve set it up, I don’t touch it anymore.

E-control I use it on a frequent basis to physically control my switches and plugs et al:
1) when I’m away from home;
2) when I’m not near to my google Home Mini;
3) when there’s a ton of guests at my house and it’s too noisy and my GHM can’t hear me properly;
4) when my baby is asleep and I need to turn off the aircon and turn on the fan.

I know others are using IHC on a daily basis and have no issues, but at the recommendation of the Broadlink distributor on Carousell, I’ve used this set up about nine months coming ten now, and I’ve faced no issues thus far (touch wood).

Thanks for the concise info.

Personally facing lotsa issues with S2 with ihc. At time, e triggers even disappeared. Nt sure if its ihc or s2 but in my opinion terrible.
