if is one but how it transmit signal if i put this e-Remote Broadlink RM-Pro in only one room?:s11: thanks

IR signal cannot penetrate thru wall..... if the airborne is in different room , you have to get multiple.

Any way to download IR code for common appliances such as TV etc. like how harmony works instead of learning the keys individually which is so tedious?

Anyone using both google home and tmall genie concurrently in 1 bedroom? Is it possible to control devices setup in broadlink ihc? Reason im asking is I want to voice control in both english and mandarin, but I setup devices with eng names, tmall genie dun understand, tried setup in chinese, gm dun understand, any workaround??

Any one success doing it ??

There is not much difference actually. In fact, using RF is more power efficient than WiFi. As for safety, so far I have yet to see any of the popular smart devices (broadlink, tuya, xiaomi) having safety mark by SPRING. Perhaps Samsung smart home devices might be.. But they tend to be pricey

Actually I agree with you too. I like broadlink, guess the only downside for broadlink is that I cannot check the status of the light, which may limit some smart scenario

This is weird.suddenly it is working again. I never do anything. Just came back from work then i say turn on electric fan it turned on..... Could be a problem with their server?

Try to identify the root of the problem- see if it’s IHC, e-control or GH that is the issue. If logging out and in doesn’t help, I will log out and then delete the app and download it again and log in.

Troubleshooting is all about trial and error, that’s the only advice I can give you at this point in time.

That’s why I advised the best way is to troubleshoot, so you’ll find the source of the problem and prevent it from happening again.

If it’s server, then both E-control and IHC should not work.

I've tried renaming in tmall genie app fan in chinese, then in ihc, it auto renamed following tmall genie (fan in chinese), which will caused gh unable to locate fan since the name changed to chinese..., which gh is unable to recognise 😂

I named all plugs in Chinese in ewelink app.
Then i renamed all them into English in Alexa app.

My Xiaomi Mi Home app sync with ewelink and all Chinese names showed up.
Now i can control using both Mandarin (via 小爱同学) and English via Alexa.

Hmmmm, mine came with the switch too. Or rather Desiree gave it to me for free when one of my eTouch switches caused the kitchen light to flicker.

Hi there.

I have google home mini, broadlink rm pro and using ihc

I am able to control the fanco fan on and off from ihc. But from google home mini is only either able to turn on the fan or turn off the fan. Doesn’t allow both controls to works from gh.

Can anyone help? Trying programming using lamp profile in ihc. Doesn’t help either. Thanks.

Hi experts. I’m totally new to smart switches and I’m wondering if getting a Broadlink rm pro and a 3 gang TC2 light switch is enough to control 1 foyer, 1 dining and 1 kitchen light? My foyer light need to be able to schedule on and off timing.

Do the TC2 need a neutral wire? Also is the TC2 hard to install and is the Broadlink and the TC2 hard to setup?

Did GH complain of any error? Suggest u to try using Google assistant on a android device to troubleshoot this.

The TC2-3 gang will meet your needs. But do ensure that the total load of your lighting should be less than 100W per gang. The usual lightings should not have a problem with this.

It does not require N line. Whether it is hard or not, it is subjective... 😂. I guess most of the forumers here think it is fairly easy. Safety comes first.. Make sure you turn off your circuit breaker before proceeding. If in doubt, just engage a qualified electrician.
