im oso waiting for my 2nd dot to arrive den can play ard with it.

switches ... mi havent reach dat stage, maybe in near future.

i see quite a number of posts saying that the sharing of config on broadlink app doesnt work alrdy, guess might be a bug on the app.

i tried learning on individual phones.
if i learn on android, my iphone will not work. then with android working, i learn to my iPhone, the android will not work

not sure why this is happening.

Totally no clue... Perhaps u jus need to create two different accounts and maintain the diff sets in iphone and android.

at first i oso have that idea that it might not, but i bought my cheap rf sockets, 433.92mhz, it works.

Yes, the IR extender receiver-transmitter will solve the issue of the devices that are not line-of-sight with your rm pro/IR remote.

The whole wiring consists of one transmitter, one receiver, and one usb (to power-up the wiring).

i found this IR receiver/blaster 4 in 1 kit
1 receive, 4 blasting.

Do you guys have any success controlling your air con from RM pro?
I'm using mitsubishi inverter but can't seem to get it to even power up with RM pro.
On the bright side, spamming the learning enables me to control me 304mhz Crestar fan! Yay!

Wat!! Haha... Congrats.. Must let edmundw knows as he using Crestar fan too.

Im using mitsubishi heavy industries aircon... Since aircon is IR... Make sure ur rm pro is in line of sight when try controlling.

yeah i have 3 devices in the console.
was initially looking in taobao. found it but its more expensive after shipping.
then i looked into your link, search alittle and found this.

Here is what I did in order :
1) Sweep frequency, so you'd long press the button in front of RM pro
2) learn frequency. Here is where it doesn't register immediately, maybe because it is 304mhz. I pressed the button maybe like >5 times. Eventually it will be able to learn, just don't give up!!
3) after setting this as say "Medium fan", sometimes you'd find that it isn't as responsive. I'm not sure why, maybe the "learning" isn't optimized. I redo step 1-2 again until I get one that is super responsive.

I don't have smart gang switches (don't have the skill or dare to touch electrical stuff!).
Is it common to
- for ceiling fan : leave the gang switch on 24/7 so that I can control via RM pro/Alexa whenever I want
- not sure if I'm actually wasting electricity or saving electricity
- what do you guys usually do?

Glimpse of hope for many other non-315/433mhz devices.

Anyway ur rm pro in master-room shld b able to control the RF in other areas within 10-15m, so u may wanna try before getting another rm pro.

Yea, by leaving the wall switch or your TV on standby mode (i used to off the mains), i seriously think the standby power is insignificant, nothing to worry about.

btw, i tried using RM pluging recently on my xiaomi phone. (As a bridge between RM pro and Alexa)
Its cannot work. I noticed that the plugin said there are certain handphone brands cannot work with this plugin.
Can someone please advise.
