Wahhh… you sound like a true technician…you may want to dig deeper into the "ID mismatch" . the system won't report an error without a reason, it's not like it emotional driven and "felt" like rejecting the port-over and assigning a random, unrelated cause. Not knowing the reason, or understanding the mechanics of the port over authentication, is not the same as "for no reason".
here's one example of needing to know the details. i remember reading one telco swapped given and surname in their records, so even though using same ID, it repeatedly showed up as "ID mismatch". I won't speculate on how and why that happened, but that was the reported cause.
