won't have anything bad happening. If anything, it indicates its a good quality oil, and you can actually push to 15K-km oil change cycle. Been using oils with at least LL-01 / MB 229.3 on my Jap car.
If you get one with LL-04/MB 229.5, you will get better fuel consumption.

Most oils that meet european standards now meets API-SN as well.

that's great. thank you for the info.

I use either Shell Helix Ultra or OWS synthetic for my Toyota Vios. I do not remember what is the model used for the OWS type though as I think I forgot to ask the workshop about it recently.

used to be car crazy before and came across this fad for OWS products. this brand split the forum as there were guys who'd vouch for it, but the other half, having gleaned the internet far and wide - could not find any useful information from the established car enthusiast communities especially from the US and Europe.

That was like 5 years ago, and I'm wondering if you have more information about the brand and company behind it to make you interested in using it.

Take note, Pennzoil ultra 5W40 Euro with manufacturing date Mar 13, the label pasted on bottle still API-SM. But the comment from "BOB IS THE OIL GUY", in fact is already SN just label not updated.

Pls share is SM or SN when u received yours from Amazon...
