IMHO.Can you drive for 300KM without resting? I use the resting time to charge.
The point I am trying to drive is you don't need excessive range to drive an EV at Malaysia.
Typical range in 400-500 km are good enough.

The only way for EV to be mass market is when battery swapping is mainstream. If you keep using the same battery you will suffer loss of range and performance.

EVs make complete sense here, if not for the current lacking of charging infrastructure. And hopefully battery chemistry gets more magical in the near future, so there's less need for frequent plugging in.

The key drawback IMO is risk of fire but many EV advocates will say it's a very low risk. Ultimately, you should just go test drive a few personally and see which you like. If you don't like a particular car, doesn't matter if the rest of the world think it's the best.
Good thing of using in SG is the short distances, meaning most people wouldn't have to charge their battery very often, like on a daily basis. Maybe can last slightly longer.3-4 years in ev mileage will drop also
