Actually I believe next year will be more expensive if they managed to nail Touch ID on the display.

Touch ID is never coming back. Apple won’t add in old feature once they remove it. They could have easily added Touch ID under display for iPhone X but they chose not to as Face ID is the way forward for Apple.

You think with Apple expertise and brilliant engineering team they couldn’t successfully implement Touch ID under display? That’s a lot of crap.

The only way to unlock is only thru face ID?

I am using 6+ for now, which i am having dilemma between 8+ and X

The X is in almost every way superior to the 8 or 8+.

Unless you absolutely NEED a physical home button or the fingerprint sensor, I would say go for the X.

If price is a concern, then I would say even the 8 or 8+ is not suitable for you. iPhones aren't for price-sensitive consumers.

Yes you are right. iPhone is never for price-sensitive consumers. Apple has played with economics very well and they are able to defy it.
