IMO, those who are starting out and looking for a cheap and good player, the Fiio X1 is pretty no brainer for the price and performance.

Still have upgrade option in the future. When paired with the E11K, the stack is still very portable.

I won't be surprised if it becomes the new beginner's DAP over the Clip series

earlier today i had a chance to listen to it and....


i would personally agree that given at the price point and the performance.... the price/performance ratio of the X1 and Sansa Clip+/Zip would almost match each other.


X1 is definitely something you simply cannot just roll your eyes off. hear to believe.


Also, IIRC, the price for the X1 is SGD159.
