I'm looking for suggestions for a 2.5 usb drive. I have read about the 2 usb plug issue, and that's fine if it works, just don't want to buy one that will not work on usb power at all.

Anyone tried any specific models of usb 2.5 drives with the s6231?

You should be fine getting any of the 2.5" portable HDD off the market @ sim lim square. It will definitely work as long as you have 2 of ur USB working fine. :)

I have a fujitsu laptop which is currently under warrranty.

Somehow, i dropped my laptop and cracked the LCD screen. Fujitsu quoted me a whooping $600 for replacing the LCD screen (Exclude labour and GST). I still wanna use this laptop but i dun wanna pay so much for the LCD repair.

Is there any reliable third party repair shops that i can go to repair and replace my LCD screen? I believe it will be cheaper.

Thanks in advance! :)

That provided if you dare to trust 3rd party services? I already receive a numerous cases whereby 3rd party services break internal parts, change to old/water stain parts, never screw and alot.. Good luck to you!

Hihi,
I am currently using Fujitsu Lifebook S7021. I have been using for 2 years. My AC adapter, model number FPCAC26 recently went malfunction. Today, my ac adapter cable suddently caught fire. I am now desperately looking for AC adpater as my project is due coming monday and most of my files are in my laptop. Please advise on where i can purchase cheap ac adapter... I called their customer service and they said the retail prices is $160 before GST... I am still a student, where can i get so much money... My brother is currently using another fujitsu laptop but his ac adpater model number is FPCAC53. Can i use his ac adpater temporarily? Your reply will be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

Cheers
Hawkie

Try Burlington Square? There is a shop inside called E-Hub but i dunno whether still have or not~ They got sell alot of AC Adapters too..

Hey there, my LCD screen also cracked before. I got mine at only $320 at Sim Lim Square. This store is called VITAL COMPUTER #05-06. The installing costs $20, but you can save if you install it on your own. Alot cheaper than Fujitsu's $600.

You can go to the one at Sim Lim Square level 5, near to the food court there. More convenient. :D
