I download Franco Kernel Updater from Marketplace($2.39)...Very gd app..Alternatively, you can probably change inside

ROM Control > Performance > Scaling Governor

okay thanks! found it, bought franco's app too! seems pretty useful even without the kernel features

Any app that can sleep/lock the phone instead of pressing the button? Scared spoilt, sometimes unresponsive :(

Search the Android market with keywords "screen lock", but not all are compatible with ICS.. Widgetsoid is your best bet, its widgets do more than just locking of screen.

I updated to the kernel using franco app & it seems to drain my battery, drop from 39 to 9% overnight. Anyone encounter the same problem?

Check governor(By default is conservative), cpu scaling(I run at the min of 350mhz and max 1200mhz), hotplug mod..

doesn't seems to justify running @ 350mhz anymore, 700mhz as minimum in fact allows u to get into deep sleep faster and you risk SOD with 350mhz + hotplug. just my 2 cents worth.

I'm on the latest kernel updated using franco app, running #18.6, overnight drain from full to me waking up is around 10-11 hours, dropped 5%.

just for comparison, my setting is running max @ 1350 mhz and min @ 700mhz, no hotplug mode. conservative governor.

Did you enable the high performance audio option? If so disable it

I did not enable the high performance audio option.

I set min CPU to 700Mhz & max to 1200Mhz & disable hotplug mod & weather update and stop unncessary process before sleep and it is ok this morning ( drop about 8%)

Nv encounter deep sleep issue(Infact, it seems to head into deep slp probably 3-5mins after i screen lock)..No SOD with 350mhz + hotplug switch on either..

there is no benefit running @ 350mhz anymore, you might want to revise your settings ;)

I think it was discovered that there was no cost savings (battery/Speed) setting your min at 350MHz. So why not just start at 700MHz
