after updating the latest firmware battery life like not that lasting anymore leh, any one feel the same way also?

Battery feel no diff. Do you use ext sd card? Battery super drain if you put pdf in ext sd card (index service will use more battery than screen).

Is yours totally cannot write?

This is a strange thing. I usually use Ghost Commander and I cannot write to ext sd. I try ES Explorer and have no issue. Maybe some app were coded with some old API not compatible with Note 3 KK?

Probably that those apps developers have not updated their codes yet to work with KittyKat! ;)

Google will have to change their codes but unlikely that they will do it. They made it that all 3rd party apps cant use the external memory card. Only internal phone apps can use. This really defeats the purpose of an ext SD card.

Now I cannot xfer files from my internal memory to my ext card using ES file explorer because its a 3rd party app. Only the original samsung file manager can do it.

My shows which i download using Quai Bo (QVOD) cannot be saved to my ext SD card and its says my ex SD card not inserted. This is also the same for UTorrent and Bittorrent android apps.

Google did not announce this change in their changelog for kitkat. They deliberate did it for a purpose. But I do not see what valid purpose there is.

Google the net for Kitkat sd card issues and you will read all about it.

After updating to the latest FW yesterday, I forgot to charge the phone when I went to sleep. When I wake up, I was pleasantly surprised that the battery dropped only around ~2% (the battery % line was quite flat from 11pm to 6am).

Not sure this App will help on the file saving to SD card, this App is like Task on PC, which purpose is to move files or folder to SD card.

For today (27 Feb) only you can unlock the Pro version for free.

Redirect File Organizer
More than One (Re)Direction
Free + bonus : $1.92

★ to unlock Pro version > settings (menu top left) > unlock Pro version > promocode: appgratis (one word) ★

When you were a kid, there was your mom or dad to make you tidy your room. But you can't depend on them to hassle you to keep your smartphone in order, luckily you have me!

Me and Xavier, the developer of Redirect File Organizer, a unique and ultra-handy app that keeps your phone organized by managing your files. Set up automatic redirects (move photos folder to SD card, move videos to a specific folder...), redirects are easy to undo, and the tutorial helps you get the most out of the app. Unlock the Pro version (more themes, more options), worth $1.92, but FREE today!
