Haha! Of cause, not 100%, may be just 70%...

Can! Open up Message and Phone and WhatsApp to see...

Many other 3rd part apps have nice animation on KitKat too now!

My Note 3 motherboard died in late January, and after replacing at samsung, the CSC is now "DBT" and I can't update via OTA or Kies.. Still on 4.3

The CSC can be changed. Instructions in this thread. Change it to XSP and you'll be in KK very soon.

After upgrading to KK my saved Wifi settings keep resetting, meaning totally disappeared from the list. Need to manually key in after that. However the problem returns sometime in a short while or over a few days. Factory reset done but problem still persist. Any help is appreciated.

You need to choose swipe for your lockscreen for the widget to work.

Swipe means no passcode or pattern or password n to some people it is a no no in security sense.

Some companies set their exchange server to enforce you to have passcode or password. So lockscreen widgets cannot be used in such cases.

I know how to add or remove widget lockscreen. Both my nexus 7 and Z1 have no issue. I can use any security code and lockscreen widget without any issue. I think only Samsung mobile have this issue as mentioned by you.

Messages on coming in during sleep

After i've upgraded to kitkat, whenever my phone is on sleep, my Line or whatsapp messages wont come in until i wake my phone and all the messages floods in. anyone has this issue? can't seem to find a solution online

mine was becos itchy hand go and disable 'location access' from a few services. Then map suddenly always show a few hundred meters off. Re-enabled access on Google Play Services and it's spot on now. If not then maybe try play around with 'GPS Status & Toolbox' from playstore. I use it together with gmap when I'm on 4.3.

You will need to enable Google Location reporting for an accurate location for Google maps.

You can do so by going into settings->More->Locations->Google location reporting. Turn it on.

intermittently pops up on my note 3 too after 4.4.2. initially thought it was due to the replacement mugen power battery but changed to stock battery also same. hopefully the upcoming firmware will fix it.

i am having this issue too.. i thought it was the 4G that is causing it so i switch it to 3G however, the reset will happen in 3G as well although not as often because coverage is better.

I did a hard reset.. still didnt solve the problem.
