i found an issue recently when using wireless 5ghz at home with note3, it always says delay and slow network and sometime disconnect itself when using on my M1 200mb fiber broadband.

It works fine on my HTC butterfly S and Xperia Z. I tried changing the 5ghz dual band settings on my Asus AC router didn't help somehow i think note3 doesn't like 5ghz band.

No problem with 2.4Ghz band.

Anyone have this issue?

Updated my note 3 to kitkat last nite and now facing unstable 4G connection now, auto disconnect then connect again after a few seconds. Tried changing to 3G signal, no such issue. Called Singtel and Samsung on this and they mentioned that there will be a new patch coming soon.

I have no issue using 5Ghz wifi signal at home with Note 3, although mine is SingNet 200Mbps fiber broadband. Not sure if it has anything to do with it.

i using starhub .. note 3 user updated 4.4 kitkat

email cant sync with default app with hotmail...

battery drain so fast .. my normal usage rate watsapp/mp3 can last arnd 30hours .. after update less than a day!

s view cover cannot use fake liao .. must download s view cover app then can use ..

so dont update better!

I found out that my Note 3 wifi chip dun seems to like 5GHz Control Channel of 149, 153, 157, 161 and Auto. Once I changed my Asus Router's 5GHz Control Channel to either one of 36, 40, 44 or 48 then my issue when away.

On S4, it was ok. Very strange....

My friend Note 3 on Starhub and M1 all got software update to 4.4... mine Singtel keep saying i am on the latest software....

Just update asap! No major issues.

Those tiny issues are 3rd party apps related and apps will be updated very soon accordingly including a fix update from Samsung.

Kitkat makes your Note 3 flies likes a bird ba....!

The new transition and windows effects are breath taking!

Sorry to hear that. BTW, which Asus AC router u r using. 66u or 68u. May not be related to your issue. Just curious.

I am using 66u doubt is router problem 5ghz works fine on other make of phone only note 3 and not a kit kat issue.

If you have not updated, please consider holding on.

External SD access is restricted. I have some apps that won't work as they need access to external SD e.g. Sygic.

I have the same problem with saving DATA from all the apps after the upgrade. Wrote to Samsung Support, and they claim that my firmware upgrade was corrupted and told me to hard reset to factory defaults.

this is even after I told them that several people on the internet are reporting same issues with saving DATA to the External SD card

I bought my phone last week from Singtel and have not received the KitKat update as well. My CSC code is OLB. Has anyone with OLB CSC received the update yet?
