Let's see.

Meal #1
1 serving of Universal Real Gains with 300 ml of low fat milk

Meal #2
Lunch at cookhouse
1 portion vege, 1 portion meat and rice
Alternative days I will get an avocado milkshake

Meal #3
Either 4 slices of multigrain bread with peanut butter or 1 can of tuna

Meal #4
Ta pao from coffee shop
Chicken Breast rice without sesame oil with one egg
Half BBQ Chicken

Pre-workout
1 serving BPI HD-Pump

Post-workout
ON BCAA
1 serving ON Whey

Something like that.

Okay thanks for the advice.
Maybe you can try moving meal 1 to lunch or eating breakfast without carb so that your body can burn your fat in whole morning.

learn the art of befriending cookhouse people, so you can ask for more.
Dun go cookhouse at peak hours, go at timing that is nearer to the end so you can have more
Egg is ur best friend

Thanks for the inputs for the meals! I will work on it.

Me? I make my own beef jerky. Hehe. At only $1.69 per 100g, using the cheapest yet leanest cut of meat, eye round.
Very yummy and convenient.

Alot of recipes on the net.
For marinade, I use 1 cup soy sauce, 1 cup worcestershire sauce (Lea & Perrins), 1 tbsp brown sugar, black pepper, hot sauce, cayenne pepper (or chilli flakes), ginger, garlic, onions.
If doing the authentic wood-smoked version, need charcoal and hickory wood chips. But this method very labor intensive, needs skill and practice. But the smoked flavor is
Cheat mode is to use liquid smoke flavor, then dehydrate in semi-covered wok at very very low fire. Dehydrate at 65C for at least 3.5 hrs, or until dark reddish brown.
If really wanna make jerky, do yr own research on net, else kena lao sai, dun blame me:o
NEVER USE PORK. This ain't bak kwa.;)

Just got back from a 3 days overseas trip and missed out on gymming. Touched down on Sunday morning and had to get more sleep so slept until the late afternoon and felt super lethargic to hit the gym :X

Decided to do some cardio since I'm trying to control my belly.

Ran 2.4km and did 30 60 intervals for 6 sets.

Last night I was ready to get back to the gym for session 14. Racked my weights for squats and did some warm up. Then I felt this pain on my right inner quad, near the crotch every time I squat.

Seeing that I stopped doing squats altogether and carried on with the rest of the 5x5.

Has anyone experienced this pain in that area before?

Session 15 without squats. I'm having a bit of phobia squatting now. Going to wait out until the pain goes away. In the meantime I will follow Beastosterone's recommendation. Thanks

I'm facing a little bit of a scheduling problem. Since my school has started, I'm having less time to go to the gym to work out. I have classes every evening on Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat. On top of that I work 800-1730 daily.

Leaving me with Monday evening, Tuesday evening, Saturday and Sunday to train.

So basically this is what I intend to do.

Saturday Gym
Sunday Gym
Monday Gym
Tuesday Gym
Wednesday Cardio
Thursday Rest
Friday Cardio

I can't do the prescribed SL5x5 routine of 1 day work and 1 day rest anymore.

Its tough to do consecutive 5x5 days, especially towards the end of the program. Your body needs to recover.

You could try it for a couple of weeks, and monitor to see if your body responds. If it doesn't work out, you might have to switch to another split program (and accept a slower rate of progress)
