I would say skip the cardio, cos the heavy weights are already giving yr heart a good workout.

Its tough to do consecutive 5x5 days, especially towards the end of the program. Your body needs to recover.

You could try it for a couple of weeks, and monitor to see if your body responds. If it doesn't work out, you might have to switch to another split program (and accept a slower rate of progress)

Actually I've tried once to do it back to back and I failed miserably. Couldn't squat for the second day. I might just do two days a week the other gym days do a split

Another 50lbs to my bench max.

And I'm quite surprised that at 133lbs for rows I can still manage the weight fairly easily, could be that 5x5 actually is that amazing?

I haven't squatted for 2 weeks now and it's really pissing me off a little bit. My legs are turning softer and softer, the slight definition that was there is now gone :(

I'm still struggling with the pull on my abductor adductor muscles. I've taken Beastosterone advice and did the mobility thing by Matt Ogus, although it's not as painful as before, it's still not recovering. I'm playing it safe and waiting out till it completely gets better before starting to squat again. Now that's a dent to my program :(

lower your weight, most likely tightness in ur abductor adductor muscles.

COMPLETE Lower Body Warmup and Mobility - YouTube

follow the warmup

This is a really good advice! After watching it I'm really intrigued by the idea of mobility and functionality. I've always been more inclined to functional fitness than just purely aesthetics.

MobilityWOD | Kelly Starrett is amazing.

I'm going to invest more of my time into learning more about this training. I'm sure it's going to benefit me in the long run. Even right now I think it's already helping me heaps.

I don't know for you, but I have this issue every time I squat.

But what I do is, I stretch it before I leave my house for the gym.

Stretch after every set of warmup. The tightness is more or less gone when I get to my working set.

Hmm I spend 15 mins of my gym time doing the COMPLETE Lower Body Warmup and Mobility - YouTube by Matt Ogus.

I'm pretty sure I've pulled a muscle at the region and I'm using VooDoo Floss Bands - Mobility recommended by my coach at my Crossfit Box hopefully this will speed up the recovery. Learning more about mobility exercises.

Right now I'm just laying off squatting just to be safe.

Session 20! That puts me at 6-7 weeks. That's about half way to the 12 weeks mark!

If you have noticed, for OHP, I will do the same weight for 2 sessions before going up. Because the gym doesn't have weights lesser than 2.75lbs, it's difficult to slowly increase the weight. So I rather do twice the same weight than struggle to do a weight that's more that what it should be.

Was damn excited to go for the deadlift. Warmed up close to 241lbs and damn was I disappointed. Couldn't go for 5 reps. Will try again next week.

Didn't manage to bench for straight 5 sets :(

A little disappointing. But I sort of expected it because I didn't really rest very well the night before.

Finally got the bench moving at 158.5lbs. But I had a spotter with me so I was more confident.

Actually the last time I also had a spotter but he assisted me on the last few reps on the previous session so I take it as no rep.
