Did any of you buy a screen protector for your S2 / Classic? If so, where and how much did you pay for it?

You can download additional third party watch faces from the Samsung Gear Apps Store.

Alternatively, you can download the Mr.Timemaker app to your watch and smartphone. This app allows you to create your own watch faces (with some constraints) or to download watch faces created by others, and there is quite a selection!

Thanks for the tip, but how come front and back? The back protector won't interfere with the heart-rate sensor on the back of the watch?

I get quite consistent whatsapp and sms alerts on my Gear S2.

If not already done so, make sure your S2 has not lost bluetooth connection with your smartphone and that you have not disabled alerts on your watch when your smartphone is on and in use. There is such an option in the notifications section of the Gear manager app. This assumes that you want alerts on the S2 when your smartphone is is on.

Yes. If your S2 is disconnected (in standalone mode), a small watch symbol will appear at the 12 o'clock marker position of your watch face.

Having said that, the S2 also has wifi connectivity, meaning your watch can connect to your smartphone over wifi (Internet) instead of bluetooth in situations when you are out of bluetooth range from your phone. But you have to make sure that wifi has been properly set up in the watch.

Sharing a deal i found. Qoo10 has a Black Friday $50 discount off >$300 purchase. I used it to get a local set classic with local 1yr warranty.

I think is better than the Sitex deal where it is rrp and only giving extra wireless charger.

How to download mr timemaker into our gear? Frm the apps it showed installed but my gear show nothing at all, unable to install ... I tried other apps no problem, oni this mr timemaker gt problem.. TIA

You use the smartphone app to choose your watchface which you will then send to the Gear S2. Make sure that you have chosen the Mr. Timemaker watchface on the Gear S2 to enable the link. On the Gear S2, Mr. TimeMaker does not appear as an app but as a watchface amongst your watchface selection (long tap on your watchface).

Just wanna share I got mine from Kasia mobile on Sunday for $465.
Staff was patient with me as I checked for scratches and if everything was in the box (probably since I'd already paid before they let me break the seal to check the contents). Satisfied with my purchase so far.

Now I've just got to tahan the wait for my strap and screen protector bought from aliexpress (12 USD total), fingers crossed they won't take 60 days to deliver.
