Continued disagreement over principle

While the Canopy Hawkers Group’s explanation directly addressed the storage fee claims, it did not resolve the disagreement with Seetoh.

IT SHOULD NOT be in contract
So is it now EMPHATICALLY even if never provide, there's zero action taken against the hawkers?

If so, all hawker should point blank tell the operator and all public NO charity meals

Really is crony capitalism at its finest, really have to gam xia KF Seetoh and Bertha Henson, etc. for calling more attention to this issue, about time someone reim those greedy landlords in. Causing so much havoc to ordinary Singaporeans just because they want buy more GCBs, Contis, Luxury goods and sustain their luxurious lifestyle.

Has there been instances where clauses are inserted into a legal document, but not meant to be enforced? 🤔

My layman brain tells me usually, at the end of such long documents, all penalties for violating any of the clauses will be there, wu yia boh? 🤔

KF Seetoh and Bertha Henson, etc. deserves special recognition.

Leong Mun Wai also commented on it, hope this matter continues to garner more public attention and rules/regulations to protect consumers and those hawkers can be put into place.

Canopy Hawkers Group and those e.g Timbre Group, etc. really need to stop being so greedy liao.
