In the UK lockdown is legally enforced, only allowed out for grocery shopping, medical visit, 1 hour exercise in open-air each day, and it's been in place for 6 weeks. Everything 100% closed except essential workplaces, grocery shops, medical.
Talking to my friends and family in UK it's much easier if you have nice house with more rooms, and garden. If you live with a big family in a small apartment (like HDB) and no garden it's tough.
Here in Japan it's easier. Lockdown isn't legally enforced, most workplaces and many shops and restaurants are open and Gov only requests reduce social connection by 80%.
True. As long as you can get a bit of fresh air in the garden, that's good enough to cure your cabin fever. Was watching a clip of Ricky Gervais roasting celebrities crying in their million dollar homes as they cant go out.
