I'm on stock 4.2.1 rooted. Can I just update to 4.2.2 via OTA?

not all can. My was ok... but some failed to update.

After Upgrading to 4.2.2, I find the color tone is tuned warmer and more vivid now. Do you guys observe this change? Well, I didnt use my Nexus 7 for the past 2 weeks thus couldnt recall the 4.2.1 color scheme however i did feel the difference ..color is more stand out.

I was on rooted stock rom and I did an manual update with CWM

For those worry on losing Root..always do this to keep root.

1) Use CWM to flash the update zip file
After flashing Complete, Do not reboot. otherwise you will lose root.
2) Flash in SuperSu.zip file ,
=>This step enables Root again..

I have been using above 2 steps to keep root for all my Nexus devices .

Well at least PA has real active developers! Haha not sure about other Roms but this, to me, is a huge plus.

I always find my N7 a little wash out on the previous firmware... did not know it is the truth ! lol

on stock 4.2.2 still cant use otg unless rooted right?

can use OTG with USB keyboard/mouse without root.. if you need thumbdrive access then either this paid app or root+stickmount

can.. either you reroot yourself using CWM to flash the SU.zip file (trivial) or use Voodoo Root Keeper to backup+restore later..

is yours rooted and enabled tethering on your n7?

Yeah it's rooted. Mine is the wifi version only. Apparently I googled and it's something to do with the build prop? I don't think I modified anything on my Nexus.

the 4.2.2 only accept boatloader 4.18...what we have now is 4.13...

Anyone with the 3G nexus 7 notice the antenna is not as good compared to other phones like hua wei and Samsung? My n7 keep on jumping from h to 3G all the time and giving me unstable and slow 3G speed, while my hua wei is relatively consistent.

Any experts here willing to give some good advice? Thanks in advance.
