I wasn't actually arguing. It was more like calling out for a clarification on why the Nexus 7 display "sucks". The OP didn't bother to post back of course, but if he had raised a valid point about a comparable / better display he had used in the past, it would have been good to know about.

Arguing about opinions, especially on the internet? You've got a lot to learn my friend.... :D

He is right, and you are right. Let's leave it at that. :)

It's a x.x.1 update.....just like every birthday rolls along you're still the same, just 1 year older. :D

Found out my N7 battery totally drained after the update... I remember it was left with 80% charge after the upgrade yesterday and didn't touch it until this morning when I woke up. Normally I would still have around 30% left of juice... not sure if it is due to the new update or something else... I will monitor it closely today after I charged it up...

Hello everyone,

The speaker on my Nexus 7 3G is blown, its producing very distorted sound. :-(

Has anyone sent their N7 to the local Asus service centre for similar issue? Are they able to fix it on the spot (assuming part is available)?

Thanks.

You need to go to Asus Service Centre, they will not repair it on the spot, as they have so many customer going there for service also :p, it s u c k s so many asus gadgets problem :p .. they will quote you 5 days for the repair. they'll just inform you via sms for collection. Good luck :s12:

Well, it's really true that the display is washed out compared to other screens, regardless of size. That for me is the criteria why it "sucks" - purely based on that factor alone, not adding other mitigating factors. Must be tablet, must be 7", must be Android etc etc....

The moment one brings into excuses like "where got better screens in the same range", you're no longer purely discussing about screen quality. :( You must remember, he's saying the SCREEN sucks, not the overall package. :D

my 1st n7 wifi volume got problem but my 2nd n7 3g volume np. so i just left the 1st set alone.

I hope when mine come back from hospital no other issues man. Already considering not going for another Asus tablet liao, but not cos of build quality but after sales seems pretty bad, at least comparing to Samsung.

I have the same problem. I've installed BetterBatteryStats and found that my Nexus has insomnia when I leave the wifi on.
The battery will drain like hell. The kernel wake lock baseband_xmm_power is keeping it awake. I'm still looking for solutions... :s22:
