just for info for those buy from US.
I shipped from vpost.
shipping cost is S$25.23. Chargeable weight was 1.3kg
anyway I apply the promo code for $20 off on 1st shipment so I paid only $5.23 but the code limited to only 1st 150 customers per month.

I wonder how much if ship from comgateway. does comgateway have any credit card discounts :s11:

I find the price on Amazon more expensive compared to other online retailers. I bought mine from Adorama for $299 (wifi, 3G, 32GB), free shipping within the US

In the US they always refer to it as 4G rather than 3G though..
Whatever....as long as u can get it. :D

Because US standards for 4G is hugely influenced by the telcos instead of any govt decree. :(

Anywhere in Sg to buy the standard charger for the Nexus 7? Thinking of keeping one in the office and one at home

I have the dock but its still unopened as I'd hate to remove the tablet from the casing each time I wanna charge it...:o

Anyone? :o

Try contacting Asus if u want the original....but honestly, I've used chargers from BB, HTC, Samsung, Apple, Asus (transformer line) to charge the N7, no problems so far, so dunno why one would want to stick to the original anyway. :F

Just sold my iPad. Its been rotting since I got my Note 2, and then the Nexus 7. Haha

Anyway, Paranoid Android's Halo is out for the adventurous ! For those who are unaware, Halo is PA's form of multi tasking that looks like Facebook's chat heads.

Maybe BSOD. Try holding down the power button for 10-15secs and see if it reboots.

Tried that but doesn't work. After much googling,
I've solved the problem by following this video
Google Nexus 7 Open Back Cover - YouTube

Seems like the problem is due to the loose cables that are connecting the battery. Although it is troublesome to pry open the back cover with my fingernails lol i'm glad to have got my Nexus 7 working right now. To those who received their units with flickering white lines, Asus fail at QC and thats what causes it.

Nice....it's always nice to see people who manage to solve problems on their own. :D

New Nexus 7 tipped for June release with sharper screen

Those who are thinking of buying Nexus 7 may consider waiting until next month for the launch of Nexus 7 (2nd Gen). Speculation is that it will have 1920x1200 full HD screen, back-facing camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU. Google is expected to maintain the same pricing as Nexus 7 (1st Gen) :s12:
