Anyone getting sudden battery drain problem? During my reservist I noticed that my 7 suddenly had no battery one day... Now when I charge the tablet, can barely last a few hours... worse thing is according to the battery stats, after rebooting it says:

Tablet idle ... 34%
Android OS ... 25%
Screen ... 21%
Mobile standby ... 11% (I think this is airplane mode)
Android System ... 5%
Facebook ... 3%

This is crazy drainage?

Hey, does anyone know whether they do screen replacements in singapore for the nexus 7 1st gen? Apart from repairing at asus which cost a bomb. I see on ebay alot selling nexus 7 screen, but not sure if the price is ok? its around 60-70sgd.

Asus tablets by default carries a 1 year international warranty. The 3 months warranty by Groupon, I believe is a standard 3 months warranty for most devices they sell. You would still get warranty from Asus for the remaining 9 months. This however does not apply to refurbished sets.

Does it have call and sms capability?

for those that got a set from amazon, can I check if the warranty put 1 year north american warranty is it valid in Singapore? If not then I would have to get 1 in singapore.
