Just upgraded to the P6P. Upgraded from a Pixel 3XL which I've been using since it launched in SG. Battery life of the P6P really got better after almost a week of usage. My P3XL could barely last half the day on normal usage like Whatsapp and social media browsing.
Do you think it's worth the upgrade, apart l from considering battery life?

Depends on the purpose. For better and new features in camera app (especially the fun magic eraser), larger internal storage (compared to my Pixel 3XL/Pixel 4XL), and slightly snappier response, you may consider. Anything else, you may want to continue to hold on to older phones.

However I believe Pixel 3 no longer get Android updates.

Thanks for this! Biggest issue is the small 4GB of RAM on my Pixel 3 XL. Sometimes my apps (YouTube) will crash when multitasking. Better features on the camera is definitely a big plus.

But for day-to-day, Pixel 3 XL is still very usable. Just hand a bit itchy to get new toy.. haha

Ok, got the phone.
First impression is really super huge.
Find it hard to handle.

Pixel 4 so comfy.
Pixel 6 really stretching my hand to grip it.
Need to find new way to hold such a big phone.
Hope it fits my pockets.
Personally, I find the P6 perfect for my hand, long and slim, miles better than my fat Mi 10T, which I find too heavy and hard to operate one-handed. However, after putting on the Spigen Tough Armour case, damn, it's fat again. Now I want to go back to my Ringke clear case.

Has anyone experienced any minor crackling or audio distortion from the speakers? I felt like my P6's speakers are producing crackling noises, which are especially noticeably on max volume. Dunno whether is it Android 12, cause it's had its fair share of issues, as I've had a few System UI not responding popups every now and then, but it doesn't really cause any issue though besides lagging for a split second.

"System UI not responding" is not normal. Did you get the Feb 2022 updates? Is this a brand new setup or migrated from other Android phone?

I feel p6 is a bulkier to same screen size phones. Like too boxy or sth, if the back is a curvy a bit will be more ergonomic to hold

I feel it's worth the upgrade. The RAM management on the P3XL was bugging me as well and I noticed a slight slow down after upgrading to Android 12. P6P feels much smoother and the cameras are definitely a big plus.

Brand new, no migration, all from scratch and updated to the latest patch. I've seen quite a few reports online, and some said this may be due to some incompatible apps with Android 12. Google support said it might be a glitch within the system. It's definitely not normal, not sure what's the problem with it though...

finally its here. 15/02 ordered. 26/02 delivered.
ringke rear camera tg glass dont fit in with spigen ultra hybrid crystal
dual easy film feels naked. application isn't hard but might get a few dust pick up if keep repetitive correction on the alignment.

imo spigen case is more rigid and snug fit
but will still recommend to get ringke cuz of the matt back touch

Why u got so many screenshot to keep :s14:

Mine is mostly photos and videos for the 15gb free storage

If u really wanna talk abt price analysis, then get the extra 128gb internal storage in phone abt same price too

And have own privacy too, sometimes I don't really trust cloud storage later kena hacked or leaked. Pro and con see the person preference
Game history lol.

TBH, cloud storage is typically your own google account. And whatever your google account is used for, getting hacked, it won't just be the drive contents that will get stolen. So practice good password etiquettes and 2FA and stuffs....you are generally relatively secure. This one is more of your own responsibility. We all have that responsibility too :)

For the folks who are having the sibeh annoying "System UI not responding" pop up, here's a link to the latest reddit post, and users claimed that the issue has been fixed on the Android 12L beta release, which will go public soon. Apparently, this issue quite a common one.

In term of price and quantity wise, ringkle > Spigen anytime. My Spigen turn a little yellowish leow. Ringkle still ok. Finally tonight can try official pixel case

Just tried out official 6 pro case!
First impression is sexier than ringke and Spigen I owned earlier. Camera lens part is totally uncovered.
All rounds smooth matt surface makes you feel like wanting to touch more
Smoother buttons feels as well.

However, at the side is Abit loose and shakey, when my grabbing the phone with my finger on the screen side.
it feels like the case gonna peel off from phone.

Will be ordering Moment Pixel 6 Pro case, since I have the lenses since Pixel 3. Due to stock, it will be back-ordered and likely fulfilled in April. Meanwhile I have no complain regarding Google's own case. The little bump below the center of case helps to position it on the new Pixel Stand Gen 2.

Expensive case with crazy shipping fees...

Mine is still with EzShip

Not sure if this question has been asked here before, does anyone know if the Pixel 6 bought from the Singapore Google Store can turn off the shutter sound? (unlike the Japan set) Thanks!

Games :s13:

Even Google also kena hacked de, how many 2FA also cannot prevent one bc beyond our control. Same for Apple cloud. Nothing in the cloud is safe since there's always loophole for hackers to exploit :frown:
