Hi. For those of us who bought the pixel 7 pro from Amazon, any idea how and when to redeem these Amazon vouchers? I was hunting high and low at the website, like there is no customer service email or whatsoever to ask....
3. When will the Amazon.sg Gift Card be added to my Amazon account?
Any gift cards earned as part of a promotion will be added to your Amazon account within 30 days of the promotion ending.

am still sitting on the fence... can I ask some daily-usage questions about p7 pro?
- is it true cannot double tap to wake up phone? don't want to waste battery by turning on always-on-display.
- is battery charging by quick charge 3.0 at 22.5W possible? I don't need super fast charging but cannot accept if it's too slow either.
- normal usage (not a gamer) can last one full day? I tend not to charge beyond 80% to protect battery life so if morning 7am start from 80% what's the likely % left at night say 7pm?
- are there any quirks that are unique to pixels?

and how do you guys protect the easily scratched chrome surface of the camera bar? even slap on a case also won't prevent the surface from scratches (e.g. by keys or some accidental contact with metal items).

many thanks... am thinking it's time to retire my 2.5 years old oppo find x2 pro.

1. By default. Single tap to wake the phone. By default, raised the phone upwards will also turn the screen on.

2. They are following PD PPS which is inline with QC4.0. Max speed is 27w.

3. There are other methods to save or prolong the battery. Charging to 80% is one way. But pixel approach is to do extremely slow charge using the adaptive charging method. Which when you go to bed, it will slow charge till when just before you wake up, it should go 100%. IMHO, just charge as and when you think you could do so. Do small charging. Dont drain it fully. Any way battery replacement isn't expensive in Google context.

4. To charge faster, turn off the adaptive charging.

5. Battery to last a full day of normal usage is possible. But it really depends on how much is normal usage. There are other battery saving tips, such as turning off 5G.

6. Quirks, as of now 5G reception reporting wrongly. Changing screen resolution can cause your home screen app layout to totally reset to factory. Some games if you pull out the FPS counter and exit the game can cause your home screen app layout to totally reset to factory also.

7. If you wanna protect the camera bar. Use a film screen protector.

Any 7P users facing this?

so far I haven’t encountered this on my 7p.

I did encounter it on my 6 though. It was a pain in the a$$
Nope. No issues. Infact I enjoy it a lot that it is sensitive and easy to unlock including face unlock.

- who say cannot double tap to wake phone? I'm doing that. Or you can do raise to wake. I have both these features on.
- I using google's charger and i find charging speed on P7P is just fine. don't feel its slow or whatsoever. I have anker's 30w gan charger in office with PD/PPS charging feature - havent use yet coz I'm on leave for the entire week (since getting P7P), but i'm sure it works just fine too.
- I don't charge my phone at home during the day. go to bed at around 11+ or 12am at night with 100% fully charged, end the next day at around 60% (but then again, your mileage may vary coz I'm at home most of the time this week so I don't need to access my phone that often compared to when I'm at work or outside for entire day).
- quirks to me might not be quirks to you... I don't really like pixel launcher at first because cannot customize as much as nova launcher, but I'm trying to get used to the default launcher for the "pure android experience".

My camera bar protected by this cheapo tpu clear case I got from Wmart (qoo10), totally not in contact with table surfaces etc. Cutout was perfect. You can always look around for other cases.. not all cases have only one big window for the camera bar. In any case I'm careful with phones and have never put them together with anything metallic like keys or coins.

I'm on P7P. No fingerprint issue leh.
Nope. No screen protector. It is flaky right out of the box. I think random sets have this issue. But I think SG pixel community is so small that the number of ppl experiencing it will be very few. And I'm the unlucky one. -_-

use BOO to get $110 for pixel 7 / pro :s12:

Credit: 8-lane
Nice share! Weird that still need to pay $10 for delivery given the high value of the purchase. This means that the effective discount is $100, still better than the earlier $80 discount though!

Seems that BOO coupon code is valid only for this weekend whereas the coupon code I shared earlier SPOOKY18 is valid till early November.

After spending a week with the phone, i can say ... ultra is wider (finally). also wider front selfie cam. battery runs longer and less warming. cinematic mode is a hit-and-miss. sometimes photos got over-processed. video recording improvements. overall a refine pixel

There's a tap to wake in settings > system > gestures > tap to check phone

Is it just me or the price difference between 7 and 7p makes the 7p more "worth" when converting USD to SGD?

For 7 it's USD599, convert to SGD (assume 1USD = 1.4SGD for simplicity) ~= SGD 839

For 7p it's USD899, convert to SGD~= 1259.

Retail price is 999 and 1299 respectively

I really feel like the people who bought pixel 6 pro got scammed. Google should give them the 7 Pro. My friend who returned his 6 Pro extremely happy that his 7 Pro got reception, that's how low his standard is after experiencing the 6 Pro.
