That Anfim Super Caimano Grinder somebody is selling on carousell with their Vibiemme espresso machine seems pretty good as well.

Think it was under high use in a cafe environment.

Wondering why he needs 4 grinders.
Think he bought it overseas with no local support anyway.

Anyway it looks like such espresso wares have very strong resale value.

ROK grinder

My ROK grinder finally arrived after a 3 months delay from the ETA. Overall i would give it 7.5/10. The grinder is capable of grinding very fine with minimal fines. It has infinite setting on the burrs as well. Took me about 30-40 sec for a 17g dose of coffee beans.

The only draw back I feel is the aluminium cup that is suppose to hold the grounds. There's quite a bit of static on it and the grounds always clump up together and it's always a mess after I transfer them to the filter basket.

It fulfils its duty as a grinder but user friendly wise not as great as I would have expected.

How much did you spend for the grinder and the shipping? And would you recommend it for someone who switches back and forth between espresso and drip?

I bought the Super early perk so it was the cheapest price. Around 200 SGD in all. Yup, i would highly recommend it. You just have to turn back to the dial number when you want to switch between espresso and drip. Takes less than 5 seconds to switch.

How fast or easy to grind a double shot?
For $200, does it perform as well as some grinder priced at $400 or better?

About 40 to 50 seconds to grind a double shot. Fairly easy to rotate the handle. I can't compare because I have not own a $400 grinder before, but all I can say is the grounds are pretty consistent and there are relatively little fines.
