Found this interesting instagram. https://www.instagram.com/chromesdantan/
This guy collects old machines, rebuild them, modify with new features then sell them.

Linea Mini or GS3... if only the GS3 is priced similar to what the Linea is now..

The LM Leva, too complicated for its own good, most likely a novelty machine that 99% can't fully use any of its function.

Unless there's specialty cafe that allows people to consistently try out different variation, but the concept itself is a costly venture..
Maybe not as expensive and not as bad.

Read from HB it has:
Double-redundant mechanism
Some critical systems in the Leva have been engineered with double-redundancy design ensuring maximum reliability.

Electronic fault detection
Leva's innovative electronics help users and technicians to detect potential issues within the machine.
The levers give line of sight to the captivating breakthrough mechanics.

The name changed Curva to La Leva

Never heard of cowpresso before but think they order from Italy just like how you order from overseas. Think highlander was selling lelit. :o

Yes they do order from Italy which is what I've been trying to do but not many online stores carry Lelit. Apparently they are the official distributor in Singapore but I'm a little skeptical. So just wanted to see if anyone had more experience with them.

Highlander was selling Lilit but only the grinder (Fred) they only have Domobar now...

Italy come in to you direct, won't you pay GST upon receiving?

Not sure, thought they should be keeping stock if they are the official distributor. If stock also don't have, most likely spares to repair or servicing also don't have much.

Maybe highlander can get for you since they carried before. :o

I believe the machine goes to them and I collect from them. Their prices are pretty reasonable and includes GST.

They give a 6 months warranty and for any future issues, they have a 'lifetime' tech support service. I just have to pay for parts that need to be replaced.

All sounds good on paper but problem is I have no idea how well established they are. they seem to be a OMO form the sound of it.

Highlander prices are

Since it's free, can ask them to troubleshoot then get the parts yourself and ask them to fix?
In case they overcharge you for parts then this labour is free thing is moot.

Will they help you to descale after paying for just the cheap descaler? Descaling takes hours and maybe days to complete.

I think highlander deals only with full E61 systems. :o

Done

Congrats!

....now back to the rest of us....

Hopefully Rocket's venture into single saturated group will force LM to lower their prices.

->Lazy_tiger, unfortunately the LM GS3 MP is really way out of the league right now!

Still looking for buyer for my Strega and I can venture out to the Linea Mini out there :s12:

Other than the overpowered steamer, I don't see what the linea mini has that the strega can't do. I see this as a sidegrade rather than an upgrade I think.
