I am now questioning if we even need to keep the UOB Absolute card? 1.7% cash back to top up grab and then what? There are other ways to earn higher cash back. I am going to get rid of UOB Absolute card next. One less app to worry about.

I find the removal of single use tickets at MRT stations absurb. A few times see tourists from nearby countries ask the Transitlink office to be told to buy a prepaid card for $10 with $5 value.

Many walk away after hearing it, maybe to take bus instead. Who would buy a prepaid card for just a one day visit.
There's alternatives like the Singapore Tourist Pass:

But even if willing to use their own credit card, what about those with say a older child eg 10 years old. Can't use one credit card to tap for 2 person right ?
Not only that, but SimplyGo charges an additional $0.60 per day for foreign-issued bank cards.

None of those can MS. Only revolut allowed cash out of card top ups right?
Top up revolut using gmpc and then top up grab using revolut. Cash out from grab to bank account using Paynow. Subject to 30k annual limit. I know revolut to bank account encashment is allowed, but it would look very obvious, so I never did it that way.
