if im not wrong thats not dust. its because ur paint is slightly thicker.. thats why it dries before reaching the part, thus fomring the cotton thingy.. pardon me if im wrong. u can just add abit more thinner to the paint and try again.

u mean those spider webs like stuffs?
those I am referring to is already on the parts that I left overnight

yup Fangs are homage to the original 'bits' first appeared in MSG as a weapon of the MA Elmeth, so is Funnels, Reflector Bits, Tri-blades, Fin Funnels, Bit MS, Planet Defensors, Bugs, DRAGOONS, Funnel missiles, Rose Bits, Shield Bits, Rifle Bits, Sword bits

There is still another type, wire guided bits, which is another whole different topic.........

Help!

Hi, i need some help on panel lining

This is my first time panel lining. I tried looking for gundam markers, but couldn't find them, so i bought a Copic Markliner 0.05 after getting some recommendations from Gunpla TV. It works, but to my horror, its not permanent.
7267339700

I next tried a fine permanent marker, but the lines looked huge. And they are a pain to erase after making mistakes.
7267342292

What is the standard size(0.05mm, Fine, etc) for panel lining? How to erase permanent marker?

Thanks in advance.

P.s. I also need some advice on removing gate from parts. Using a exacto knife, I scraped off the gateways, but i often get warped plastic (the part turns white). any way that i can prevent that or fix that issue? I have tried sanding it, but its not very efficient. Scraping off with the knife tends to lose alot of detail and only fix the problem partially.

rapahel gundam:s12:
try the gundam marker gm01/02/20
or enamel wash

wrapped plastic is due to u cutting too close to the part, suggest u dun position the side cutter too close.
trim off the excess using the knife, and sand it down to level the surface

yea, Rapheal gundam. My first HG. building a Enact Custom now for experimentation.

where to find gundam markers? How much do they cost? Any alternatives? Enamel wash looks difficult...

My procedures are:
1. use a side cutter to remove parts from runners. Leave approx 5mm away.
2. using a exacto knife, cut off the nubs( this is the part where i always screw up, warped plastic almost always appear)
3. shave off some plastic to reduce the white colour if the parts are warped. ( i tend to overdo this part in desperation. Alot of details are frequently lost when i do this part...)
4. use a 800grit sandpaper to sand the area smooth.
5. assemble the parts.

Any mistakes i made? Suggestions to improve?

Thanks in advance:D

gundam markers can be found in hobby shops like hag

the stress marks is usually caused by side cutters cutting too close.....never come across it being caused by art knife

just dun trim it too close, u can still trim off the excess using your art knife....slowly

for me I use grit 400>600>1000

of coz if u can paint it, then the stress marks wouldn't be an issue:D
