Hi all,
May we clarify if you are on Android?
If you are receiving security risks prompts, please try the following:
- Go to settings > Apps info > OCBC Bank
- Force stop the mobile banking app
- Clear data and cache
- Click on “Permissions” and select “allow” for all functions
- Select "Appear on top" and enable the "Allow permission"
If you are still having issues thereafter, please drop us a private message.

Hi Zhuang
We're really sorry for the inconvenience.
We need to ensure that your device meets the OneToken Mobile Banking app security standard. The following are examples that may compromise the device:
- Root/ super user access (e.g. jailbroken devices, devices with development/ debugging modes)
- Remote access from other devices to the mobile device, e.g. TeamViewer, LogMeIn, VNC, etc
- Library tampering applications, e.g. FakeGPS, FakeWifi, 3g/4g Unrestrictor, etc.
- Malware – tools may be installed to scan the device, e.g. Avast, AVG, McAfee
If you're still having trouble with the app after deleting & reinstalling, can we suggest deactivating the OneToken entirely? After which, you can continue logging in with hardware or SMS token.

Yes I am on Android. I have followed your steps above, however now I am getting a new message below upon launching OCBC app.
For your security, this app will not work because one or more critical threats - Remote Administration Tools - have been found on this mobile phone. Please log in to Internet Banking using another device.
I would like to PM you however my account is too new to send you a PM.
I never activate OneToken before and neither receive hardware Token.
Problem is that whenever I want to perform bank transfer which required to add new payee, the OCBC app itself prompt me that "The new hardware token is required for this transaction"
My OCBC TR card had a fraudulent charge from Amazon EU 3-4 weeks ago and I have made multiple calls to OCBC hotline to inform of this issue, for the bank to reverse the transaction or at least issue a temp credit while the investigation is being done.
However, OCBC chose to do nothing, and now I am going to be hit with late payment penalty and interest for a fraudulent transaction which they have been duly informed 3 weeks prior.
And it seems that I am not the only case as the OCBC staff acknowledged that this is a widespread issue within the bank and from what I understand, the people who were advised to just leave the fraud charge unpaid were subsequently slapped with the late fee and interest, as well as a hit on their Credit Rating on CBS.
Hi, may I ask what is meant by $1,000 minimum deposit is required to commence trading for iOCBC account users under the age of 21?
Does it mean I have to transfer $1k into my trading account? How do I go about doing that and what happens to the $1k after I turn 21?
Thanks in adv
Thank you. Could you drop us a PM with the email reference number, so we can provide you a response asap?
