Hi OCBC,

I feel I was mislead when I applied online to register for a 365 credit card. A bank representative called me and said that there is a promotion for signing up for the 365 and I would get $30 cash credit, he said there will be a courier service for documents.
Thereafter, I got my 365 credit card, no $30 credit.
But, I also ended up with a cashflo credit card, an easicredit account, and an easicredit checkbook. I really did not want all these, and it is quite fustrating as I would cannot find any option to cancel all these extra stuff. I felt that the person that called me just wanted to get certain commission and pushed me into getting these products which i do not want. What is the fastest way to terminate these.

Thanks

Why did my credit card payment to other banks via internet banking failed with the resaon Do Not Honor, when my ocbc bank account had more than enough funds to make the payment? This is rediculous and will cause me to get charged with late payment fees.

Hi OCBC,

I have a Frank credit card and it's still under annual fee waiver. If I apply for a supplementary card now, do I have to pay for the annual fee for the supplementary card? If I spend 6K on my Frank card annually, will the annual fee for the supplementary card be waived too?

Thank you.

May I know when is the last day in a month that we can charge to OCBC Frank card to accumulate the $500 for the 6% rebate?

Cos the terms and conditions state:

Retail transactions charged to the Card but have yet to be posted to the Card Account will not be taken into account in the computation of cash rebates to be awarded.

Pls advise. Thanks.

Hi there!

I'm afraid you'll need to apply for the 360 as a new account. You can always close off the Savings account after, and there won't be any early account closure fees if the account's been with us for more than 6 months

hi ocbc,

is giro-ibg

entitled to the ocbc 360 1% for salary?

Hello!

If your company credits your salary through GIRO, there will usually be a 2nd liner that indicates the company name. So that GIRO-IBG description together with your company name will be acceptable.

Some companies credit salaries via fund transfers instead, and indicates a description as GIRO-IBG. That will not be eligible

Hi there

That reason is given, when the other bank rejects the transaction. Do you have any idea if the other bank provided you with a new card recently?

And could you PM us the bank name & type of card you were trying to make payment for? Thanks!

I have just applied for OCBC 360 account and Frank Credit Card.
Went to the bank a week after upon realizing that my Frank Credit Card can't be used as ATM, filled up a form to link it to my OCBC 360, and was told that it will take 5 days.
So, it's been more than a week since, and when I use my Frank CC at ATM, it says that I have selected invalid account. Any help please?
Haven't got time to go to the bank and queue.

Hi there!

Other banks will usually ask for branch codes
For OCBC accounts, the 1st 3 digits is always your branch code. So here's the format for easy reference

Example of an account number: 501-XXXXXX-001

Bank Code: 7339
Branch Code: 501
Account No: XXXXXX001

Hope this helps!

The supp will always follow the principal card. If you're charged with annual fees, so will your supp

And if the annual fee is waived for the principal, the supplementary is automatically waived as well

What does the company need to do to have the second liner

Hello!

The following are some of the T&Cs for the Frank card effective 1 Dec.

Retail transactions are purchases for goods and services and exclude the following transactions: (a) Payments made via telephone or mail order; (b) Subscription and recurring payments; (c) Payments to government institutions; (d) Payments to financial institutions (including banks and brokerages); (e) Payments to insurance companies; (f) Utility bill payments; (g) Donations; h) Payment of funds to prepaid accounts and merchants who are categorised as “payment service providers”; (i) Payments to schools, hospitals, professional services providers and payments for parking lots (j) Payments of membership fees to clubs and associations; (k) Payments made via online banking; (l) Any other transactions determined by OCBC from time to time.

Are payments to Telco websites for mobile/broadband plans excluded under b) and Paypal excluded under h) ?

And also do the excluded transactions contribute to the min $500 spend required for Frank card rebate ?

I'm afraid we're not able to give you a confirmation on that. Merchants/ stores have up to 7 days to "post" the amount to your card account. When they decide to do so, is entirely up the store and is beyond our control

Perhaps it'd be best to give a buffer of 7 days, before the end of the month
