hi ocbc

I like to ask about msa.

1. Is there a minimum sum required for ADB and is there any fall below fee?

2. There is a need for a monthly contribution of $50. Is that a single transfer of $50, or a monthly increment of $50 on the ADB?

3. The monthly contribution of $50 either by "giro or internet banking". Does the "internet banking" include a FAST transfer from other bank into the ocbc account? Can the transfer be done on a random date every month? Or must a date be specified? If a date is specified, must it be on that day, or can it be in the same month before that day?

4. Can I open the account and just get 0.05% pa interest with no other penalty, without the need to do monthly contribution of $50?

Hi OCBC Team, I just opened 360 account through online method since I have existing ocbc account (FRANK). Question is will an atm or debit card mailed to me? Wondering how to withdraw the money from that account. Thanks

Hi walamak88,

Were you given an option to receive a new debit card or link your 360 account to an existing debit card?

If you have chosen to receive a new debit card, it will be sent to your mailing address.

Do drop us a PM with your contact details. We could arrange for our service executive to call and check on this for you.

Hi zoosh,

In order to earn up to 0.40% p.a., account holders will have to make a monthly contribution of $50, and make no withdrawals within the month.

Should the contribution of $50 not be made or a withdrawal is done in the month, a base interest of 0.05% p.a. will be granted instead. There is no penalty when account holders does not make the monthly contribution of $50.

The monthly contribution of $50 does not have to be done via GIRO or Internet Banking. There is no set date in the month by which the $50 must be deposited.

There isn't minimum account balance you have to maintain in the MSA, hence no fall below fee.

Hi,

Thank you for getting in touch.

To qualify for the Salary Credit Bonus interest, a salary credit with description "GIRO-SALARY" of a minimum of $2000 must be reflected in the statement.

You may make payments via OCBC's internet banking to your own OCBC credit cards, other bank's credit cards (if allowed), or for billing organizations registered with us. You may refer to the list of billing organizations registered with us here: https://www.ocbc.com/personal-banki...ing-organizations.html?#billing-organisations

GIRO can be set up via OCBC's internet banking if the billing organization is registered with. If the billing organization is not registered with us, you may check with the organization directly on how to set up a GIRO payment with us.

U r just replying me with the info that i can find in your website

What I need to know if OCBC is so strict that the description must be "GIRO-SALARY" in order to enjoy the salary credit bonus interest? I heard from someone that they could take the bonus even though the description is not "GIRO-SALARY". Can you confirm this?

Hi,

While there are many ways salary gets credited into an account, only direct salary credits through GIRO with the description "GIRO – SALARY" in your statements will qualify for this bonus.

For GIRO-IBG cases, we will accept the following description i.e. STS SAL, STS PYT, PAYROLL , SALARY, SAL or WAGE.

Other forms of salary credit such as cheques, cash deposit or fund transfer etc, strictly do not qualify for this bonus interest.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback. Currently, we will only be able to avail the bonus interests for the descriptions as mentioned in our previous post.

Is there a direct no. that I can contact a specific representative. I so far only managed to have the representative name. And everytime I call for that representative that manage my case, I have difficulties as it is through hotline; which is 4 calls x 30 mins wait.

I'm in hurry as it is regarding my salary crediting, which is critical :s22:

Hi OCBC,

I have made few placements of Time Deposit Online. There are multiple receipts generated for each I made the placement.

Please let me know how can I uplift/withdraw few of the receipts in my Time Deposit Online? I would prefer to do it online.

I have read from some of the FAQ to compose mail under my online banking. However, there is no response at all after 1 week.

Regards,
KH

hi, ocbc,

https://www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/premier/campaign/premier-easisave-account.html

I will like to ask if there are other tnc specific to the above account. and on top of that, i had the specific questions as below,

1. Can I set up giro from this account?
2. Is there any fee on withdrawal from counter?
3. Is there any fee for cashier order?
4. Is there any fall below fee?

Hi zoossh,

Thank you for your interest in the Premier EasiSave account.

In order to apply for the premier EasiSave account, you will have to first be a premier customer.

You could refer to https://www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/accounts/terms-and-conditions-governing-deposit-accounts.html for the T&Cs.

1. You will be able to set up GIRO
2. There are no fees for making withdrawals from the account
(If by withdrawal, you meant closure of account, there will be a $30 charge if the account is closed within 6 months of opening)
3. Cashier order fees are waived for premier customers.
4. There is no fall below fee

Pricing guide can be found at https://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/pricing guides/premier-banking-pricing-guide.pdf)

Should you require further details, you could call our premier hotline at 1800 773 6437 or +65 6530 5930 (if you are overseas).

OCBC/DG, you might pop over to the discussion on Redmart and give a response before people arrive at all sorts of conclusions. Thanks!

Called OCBC hotline to request for annual fee waiver for my credit card on 28th Dec 2016. Follow the instructions to lodge request and until today - no response. Don't know what to say. Don't feel like calling and wait half an hour just to cancel a credit card. Will they process my credit card cancellation at the branch office or die die must do it over phone?
