Hello OCBC representative,

Would like to ask regarding the "goal" setting.
I have ocbc 360 account.
I would like to set a specific goal. Eg: house.

Let's say I decided to go with $1k a month. The amount will be debited into "house" every month right? Will they remove the 1k from my balance in ocbc 360 account and lose the interest obtained from the ocbc 360?
Would appreciate if someone has an answer. Or could PM me too.

Been trying to call the customer service but it is horrible. Aint wasting my time trying to call.

Not sure abt this because I do manual lump sum transfer
Bear in mind when u put them in goals u r locking the funds up
I was told (don't know how accurate) that even counter cso can't help u with the unlock
U need to have yr token to unlock the money in the goal
They r not available for normal withdrawal until u release them from goals

My request for annual fee waiver on my NTUC plus card was rejected, so I cancelled it (no counter-offer was made during my cancellation request).
Less 1 OCBC card, if this continues I will cancel all my OCBC credit cards ...

No annual fee if you are a NTUC member. I just chalk up all my bills and retail with this card. Also, to clock the minimum spending for OCBC360.

For online, use SCB Singpost.

Wow this seems to be a bit difficult. Well probably they want to make it unassessible.
Just want to know if the interest rate still accumulated as per my ocbc 360 balance or totally none.

Hi jysw1986,

We are sorry to learn that you weren't able to get through our line.

The same prevailing interest rate will apply to funds under your 360 Account, be it funds in savings goals or not.

Yes purposely to make them unavailable for withdrawal so yr goals won't be shattered by yr self lo
It's also gd because yr funds r even safer? But u mentioned see negative. That one more worrying

If not wrong e.g.

Yr 360 bank acc has
10k
20k put inside some goals name

When u see yr cash etc it will be 30k, available 10k
Means u can withdraw up to 10k max until u release the fund 20k out from yr goals

Economy is in the dumps.

If they fail KPI, blame the economy.

If they exceed KPI, give themselves more bonus.

I see, that means as long as we are a NTUC member then the bank will auto waive the annual fee to UPLUS, NTUC Union member considered or not?

Any NTUC member should be counted. Mine is UWEEI.

Update: I just called up OCBC. I managed to talk to a human within 3 seconds. :)

Hi OCBC representative,

Can you help me put up an appeal for my rejected credit card application? I checked my credit report after my rejected application and found out that the credit report that will be furnished to you by CBS when you inquire using my current passport does not reflect my complete credit history because I have used my old passport years ago when I applied for the credit cards that I currently have. I have e-mailed CBS about this and they have merged all my details. After merging, my risk grade is AA. Before merging everything, it was CX (insufficient credit activity). I'm thinking that this may be the reason that my application was not approved so I'd like to ask OCBC to reconsider. Thanks!

Hi OCBC,

While my family is cleaning up some documents, we found a passbook from Bank of Singapore (BOS). We could not ascertain if the bank account had been closed or not.

Understand that BOS no longer deal with retail banking and is a subsidiary of OCBC. Would OCBC be able to assist with the verification?

Had tried to contact BOS and OCBC via email but everyone had remained silent for the past 2 weeks. Not even an acknowledgement reply. :(:(:(

Not true. If you read past few pages, alot of people were complaining of long waiting time. So many went on a high horse and close their accounts.

Now their telephone menu has automate with a voice recognition system. I think the customer service experience has improved.

It's true with regards to their credit cards strict policy Mine not waived too. It is their banking policy. Just move on, terminate that card and use whichever is free.

If too many people terminate their cards, I am sure the bank will relook at the policy.
