We will follow up with our service executive, and arrange for a call to you asap.
As a reminder,
that's insecure. When receiving a telephone call, your customer has no way of knowing that a genuine OCBC employee is calling in an official capacity on a bank monitored channel.
Please give your customer a reference code, and ask your customer to call his/her bank at your published telephone number, the number on the back of his/her card. Please do not continue jeopardizing the security of your customers.
There is another possible way to establish at least a reasonably secure line of communication between you and your customers, but we'll leave that to another day.
To every bank customer: if anybody ever calls you purporting to be from your bank, do not answer any "verification questions." Ask that person for a reference code (only), then hang up, and call your bank at its published number, the number on the back of your card. Do not risk your security; nobody has any business asking you for your name, birth date, mother's maiden name, NRIC, account number, or anything else to "verify" you. You have absolutely no way of knowing when somebody calls you that it's an authorized employee from your bank acting in an official capacity over a bank monitored channel.
