Hi OCBC team,

I want to check, upon closure of all OCBC accounts, what do I need to do to remove my online banking access in total?

I have cancelled my credit cards and closed off all my current accounts alrdy. But for now I’m still able to log into Ocbc online banking as usual.

If the 6 months has passed, and the earmarked amount released, you will now be able to withdraw the money from your account

How to close the account? Can just withdraw everything out then account auto close?

Hi OCBC team,

I want to check, upon closure of all OCBC accounts, what do I need to do to remove my online banking access in total?

I have cancelled my credit cards and closed off all my current accounts alrdy. But for now I’m still able to log into Ocbc online banking as usual.

By right, if you close off all accounts with us, you will not be able to access the Internet Banking anymore. There must be a residual account somewhere that is still captured in our systems

Best way to sort this out would be to visit our branch to get an accounting of all your accounts with us & to ensure eChannel services are deactivated as well

Hi bumdssa

You can withdraw all funds from the account, and it will auto close after 6 months. However, in the meantime you may receive account statements from us.

So I do suggest zerorising the account first. And then, you can send us a secured email from your Internet Banking, instructing us to close the account for you

Or you can get this done personally at any one of our branches

Logged in on PC, Approved access via OneToken, but page loads with SWT10020 error.

Logged in with mobile app, was faced with "Service is temporary unavailable".

Issue happens since morning and have restarted phone.

We have not received any similar feedback on the issue you are facing. If you are using your mobile, could you try on a desktop/laptop instead and vice versa?

If you are still not able to, please provide us with the screenshot of the page you are receiving the error message on, and we will check further with the relevant department.

tried on hp and desktop and using different network, it still says:

internet.ocbc.com says:
SecurityError: Blocked a frame with origin "https://internet.ocbc.com" from accessing a cross-origin frame.

Thx for the reply.

Could it be becoz I just closed off the accounts only yesterday? I went down to branch ytd to closed off the savings account and called hotline to cancel the two credit cards.

As of now I’m still able to access internet banking and mobile app, just that under what I own and what I owe, everything is blanked out.

Why android app always got problem using... keeps saying got preferential security risks and cannot use... using untested Samsung s9

I used FAST transfer this afternoon. Until now 10.19pm the transaction hasn't gone through!!!!!!
How come OCBC lately so much problems with their online systems?

We need to ensure that your device meets the OneToken Mobile Banking app security standard. The following are examples that may compromise the device:

- Root/ super user access (e.g. jailbroken devices, devices with development/ debugging modes)

- Remote access from other devices to the mobile device, e.g. TeamViewer, LogMeIn, VNC, etc

- Library tampering applications, e.g. FakeGPS, FakeWifi, 3g/4g Unrestrictor, etc.

- Malware – tools may be installed to scan the device, e.g. Avast, AVG, McAfee


We regret that installation of certain apps may prevent usage of the OCBC app.

Hi there littleredboy

FAST transfers are almost immediate and would be transferred to your other Bank account in seconds. Another probability is that a customer may accidentally chose GIRO transfer instead - which would take 1-2 business days

If you initiated the transfer from your OCBC account, we can help to check on the type of transfer you did. Feel free to leave us a PM

Thank you for the details.

However, we were unable to reply to your private message as we were prompted with an error message that you have exceeded your stored private messages quota.

Can you attempt deleting & reinstalling the mobile app?
May we also check if you are facing with the same issue on mobile browser?
