You will need to visit our branch or fill in the form online prior to/on the same day you make the transfer.

Passbook Savings account cannot be open online.

If you are looking to open a Statement Savings account, you will be able to do so via MyInfo. The account will be open immediately, if no further reviews are required.

They didn't tag my new ac to my existing ibanking account record.
Sorted in 30mins...
Haha... Thought savings ac also need to be like unsecured credit application.

Fresh funds deposited liao still need to do the online registration for this promo or go to branch to fill up the form ON THE SAME CALENDAR DAY to allow OCBC to earmark the amount for this promo...

Deposits performed through self-service channels are considered eligible for this Promotion but either a visit to a branch or submission of the eForm via the website prior or on the same day will still be required so that arrangements can be made for the funds to be withheld.

Hi OCBC.

I am running the Android Q beta on my Pixel 2 XL. Since the update from beta 4 to beta 5 OneToken no longer works.

It says I have an existing token set up on another device and prompts to deactivate it and set up again. Fine; this also happened when first installing Q beta 3 and with the update from beta 3 to beta 4, and it worked without issue once reactivated. However now it says 'activation has failed as potential security risks were detected in your phone' and won't let me proceed.

This also prevents me from logging into online banking via the website or via the app using my access code and PIN.

My phone is not rooted and the Android build is the official OTA beta version from Google, not a custom ROM, sideload or anything else that should trigger a security alert. For now I have set up OneToken on my old Nexus 6P (which ironically is running a custom Android 9 Pie ROM) so I can access my online banking in the meantime.

I realise this is my own fault -- don't install prerelease software on your main device yada yada -- but as Android Q is nearing official release I hope your developers can address this. If you want me to provide any additional information, logs or whatever let me know, I'll be happy to help.

Also a cautionary tale for anyone else thinking of trying the Android Q beta!

Hi there,

You will have to credit at least $500 into the account monthly to be eligible for the bonus interest.

Interest crediting will not be counted as part of the $500 required.

For example, even if there is a total of $30 of interest credited to your account, it does not mean that you can deposit just another $470 for the bonus interest.

The $500 does not have to be fresh funds and can be transferred from another OCBC account of yours.
