I hope that you can improve your services immediately. My personal encounters with your bank are terrible.

Your hotline were hopeless as well. What's the point having a hotline and not serving it.

I will not consider your bank at this point due to the really negative services.

Take this as a feedback and do something about it.

Perhaps it would be a better idea for you to just reply via secured email in iBanking as not all of us are available to pick up unscheduled phone calls. I'll try and see if I can follow your instructions later tonight.

We tried calling your number, as per our bank's record, but the phone was unanswered. We have also tried to reply to your PM, but the reply bounced as it stated that your inbox was full.

Could you PM us your preferred contact number , so that we may respond and make the necessary arrangements to call.


If not, you may also follow the steps below to make payment for a cancelled credit card.

• Go to "payment and transfer"
• Select “pay bills"
• Select “single bill payment” on the left
• Select “OCBC/ PLUS! credit card”
• Key in your previous FRANK Credit Card account
• Key in the amount and account to pay from
• Click on “next”
• Confirm the information and click “submit”

Still can lah....ocbc got sunday banking....can go there bang table. Plus got many jlb consultants walking around.....can help w hotline calling.

Why did a normal ocbc savings acct allow overdraft?

i always thot it is not allowed and wont happen to me but i was shocked today. And the root cause was a fault, i suspect, in the earmarking mechanism.

Usually debit (visa) spendings will be earmarked from main balance to make the amt unavailable for withdrawal or transfer. but my last spending somehow lost the earmark after some days, i proceeded to remove my acct balance to another acct since i trust the system will earmark whatever funds required already.

When i found a negative acct balance today, i immediately topped it up. Now this incident is leaving me to worry about being slapped with a hefty overdraft fee by ocbc. There is no such fees yet but i fear it will come.

Conclusion: something wrong with the acct fund earmarkng system.

An account go can go into overdraft.

You might want to monitor your account for any untoward charges

If there is any in the beginning of the month, feel free to contact us here.

oh, i was charged $0.15. says is OD int fee. Heng not $80 charge.

Won't be appealing against this but just wanna inform others to be careful. Debit amt by visa can be earmarked but somehow released after a few days. Well, it shouldn't be like dat, unless there are no OD costs to customers.

Terrible....
OCBC sent me a statement for Annual Fee for an unactivated CC....

Got thru the hotline after trying for 30 min.....and the CS told me he cant do anything regarding fee waiver or cancellation of card....
He tried transfering to another personnel from CC.....n another wait for 10 mins.....
Finally he told me he will get the CC ppl to call me asap.....

Slim chance I guess.

I got a call from ocbc late last night at 10.30pm....
Put in the order to cancel the unactivated card....
Enquire abt annual fee waiver for ocbc 365....he told me waiver not possible after looking thru i didnt spend on the card for past 1 year.
Ask him need spend how much then can waive off....
Was told 10k!!! Wow.
So no choice cancel this as well.

Your online balance transfer rebate promotion is misleading , and should inform customer when approved the loan amount applied from 10k to 9k , and reduce 60% rebate benefit .

At minimum , OCBC should call the customer instead of direct debit the SGD400 processing fees from customer account without consent given .

As mentioned, OCBC reserves the right to reject an application for a Balance Transfer in its entirety and/or approve only part of an Applied Balance Transfer Amount at our absolute discretion.

Can I ask, if the amount has changed, does the customer have the right to reject the entire balance transfer and take his business elsewhere instead?

Anakinsky's post seems to suggest that he was not given a chance to say no as the processing fees was deducted without any further confirmation from him.
