I have a question regardijg robo investing.

It says here in the ocbc website "our proprietary algorithm constantly reviews your portfolio against market movements, and rebalances its constituents to optimise returns for you, with your approval of course"

When ocbc rebalances my investment, how will i be asked and how often will this be?

Hi,

Rebalancing is the process of adjusting the composition of an Investment portfolio. This involves the buying and selling of assets in an investment portfolio to maintain a desired asset allocation according to the market conditions and your declared risk profile. We will sell more if the stock value rises significantly, or buy more when the stock has declined to take advantage of volatility.

OCBC RoboInvest will periodically (quarterly or half-yearly depending on portfolios) trigger rebalancing. We will only proceed with the rebalancing once you have given your consent within 2 weeks from the date of trigger. You may choose to ignore or skip this rebalance as well.

Hi,

Possible to update nric online instead of going to the branch?

TIA

Hi drltch,

Update of NRIC cannot be performed online.
This will require face-to-face verification.

You will need to bring along both your old and new NRIC.

I feel my OCBC saving account of $1k min balance is too much for current internet era.

OCBC seem too late for changes.

Hi P R N D,

You can consider these accounts:

Monthly Savings account which requires a monthly average daily balance for the month of $500.

https://www.ocbc.com/personal-banking/deposits/monthly-savings-account

Plus! Savings account doesn't require a monthly average daily balance for the month.

https://plus.com.sg/apply/banking/plus-savings-account

But there will be annual service fee of$24 charged for the debit card if you do not meet the minimum spend of $1,200 in VISA transactions within the card's anniversary year.

NTUC-OCBC Starter Account is eligible only to NTUC union members. It requires no minimum average daily balance for the month, and cards will not have any service fee charged as well. Prevailing union membership fee applies.

Hi,

I charged a payment using the AXS Pay+Earn to my OCBC 90N card recently and it was posted as an unbilled transaction. I did not see the Travel$ being updated in the online card details page.

The 90N card T&C clearly states that AXS Pay+Earn transaction is eligible for miles.

Is there a reason why?

Because it is not posted yet.

Basically, you are buying miles thru AXS Pay+Earn at 2.5cts per miles. Don't you think it is too high? I would rather pay the annual fee of S$192.6 and get 10,000 miles.

Hi OCBC,

I currently have a NTUC OCBC Plus credit card (the silver one)
I was wondering is it possible to open the NTUC-OCBC starter account online rather than going to the branch?

Thanks.

Hi there,

Travel$ will be credited to your account when the transaction is posted.

If you did not receive the Travel$ even though your transaction has been posted, do drop us a PM with your mobile number.

We will get our service executive to call and look into your card account and assist.
