Actually the whole area is simply Hougang. Jalan Kayu all the way down to Tai Seng is still actually Hougang.

Think about 10 years ago, most of the BTO are in NE area, like Hougang, Punggol, Sengkang. Think original plan was to dilute the original votes. But now you can see the young Singaporeans also have own minds. So now solution is import more and more from … rem the strong handshake…

Lose already then vent on the residents, speaks very well who they are serving.

All the same people. When Sengkang opened up, the first people to go there were from Hougang.

Unlikely - each family can only buy one BTO flat. Unless is new family, in which case all parties can make their appeal to a new family.

I can equally say a lot of “from Hougang” flats were carved out to other electoral divisions. Many people also comment why our last electoral divisions such weird shapes. Marine Parade can draw all the way to above Potong Pasir. AMK can reach Punggol coastal area.
