The 1st time when they lose, they pull out all the buses from Hougang, the residents had walked all the way to the main road of upper serangoon, residents were pissed, come 2nd time, they used the HDB upgrading to threaten again. After tat, they demolished the market, without replacing it.

Lose already then vent on the residents, speaks very well who they are serving.

Seeing the comments here even more disappointing… sometimes really wonder if it’s worth it at all.

Wonder if the hdb guy who tekan ltk is still in hdb. Public servant yet failed to do his duty and be apolitical.

The same happened at aljunied too. The hougang experience stuck with ltk and when aljunied went to wp he had to preemp the same thing from happening.

I like how the Malay Lady said we pay taxes. Really speaks to how our ruling party try to divide citizens in a “with us or against us situation”, even though we are all Singaporeans.

there was this one post in edmw by a hougang voter... think it was during 2011 general election period... that post perfectly captured the angst of the hougang voter... you read that post you know its more of a blood feud already... they feel owed... no reparations volunteered... PAP can forget about ever taking that SMC back...

watching the documentary, never knew PAP hold back the lift upgrading for hougang people and potong pasir

in the end potong pasir residents gave in
