Like to check if I allow to carry a 50 litres size backpack up Scoot's plane? Anyone done that before. Flight to Taipei.

Anyone tried carrying 25 inch luggage into airplane?

Try to book for check in baggage if your luggage is too hugh or if you intend to bring back many things. Spare a thought on others especially when coming back from Taipei. Often I am quite piss because of this. There are many people who can afford air tickets but cannot afford to purchase check in baggage when they knows that they are gonna to bring back the whole Taiwan. At times I see people including myself can't even find a space to put our one and only hand carry bag because of them. :s8:

For insurance, I usually get ace travel insurance when they got 35% off.

Last 7d6n trip, paid $24.60 at the 2nd last tier plan..

These are also the people who often queue up at the boarding gate before hand and insist on boarding first even though they are seated right at the front. Saw a group of Singaporeans arguing with the ground crew and kicking up a big fuss when passengers seated at the rear of the plane were asked to board first. :s8:

Yeah.. i still don't understand why these people need to queue so early. everyone will have a seat. So kiasu for what. But mostly these people are the ones with lots of handcarry items with them. I ever saw 1 person carried 5-6 bags and also an old Taiwanese couple brought vegetables to Singapore on their handcarry bag. :s13:

I did that too but no use.. in the end have to put my bag under my seat which is so uncomfortable. :( .. ever saw a girl shouted too like what you did. :s13: . I think these budget airlines should control the number of handcarry items before letting the passengers board the flight. Charge these people at higher price if they exceed the number of luggage which suppose to be. Btw you often go to the fb group (Taiwanese in Singapore)? I think i saw you posting there before. :s13:

got a few only la.....
mostly is taiwanese

Heng heng i ask rear n can tumbar my barang barang first. Normally are those with the dark red passports who overdo it or those first timer. Wouldn't say it is all their fault but closed to 60/40 are them.

Yes lugguage to them can be subjective and really hope they enforced the rules before boarding. So that they will be forced to check in or rejected from flying. Besides, airline can stop anyone from flying without giving you any reasons or so.

The issue lies with budget airlines. When they allow it and not enforce the rules properly, people abuse it. On the other hand, if budget airlines enforces too rigidly, the travelers can always go to another budget airline.

They are always both camps for budget airlines. So i still strongly believed they can or may in the near future enforced it for the safety and comfort to all passengers on board for a smooth and great flight so that we can always look forward to flying with budget airlines.

not sure....as I haven't checked. it seems that for scoot, they don't check on number of pieces as they limit by weight?

well. then I think that is actually very good already.
if people still want to bring more, then scoot should really stop those who exceed or charge them.
