hi forumer,


i encountered one problem while on V31 nightly build, here' my scenario

Everytime i turn on the phone, the ringtone volume will automatically pre-set at a much lower volume. Thus, i have to set it to the highest


Here's my question, how do i let it stay at highest volume everytime i rebooted or turn on the phone ?

Will be waiting for anyone advice

Look into those thread that written "ROM" on the very 1st sentences, watch out for these firmware that came with Froyo operating system

Yes.

Sync your phone with a Google account, or use Astro File Manager, or use MyBackup app. There are many ways, just google it.

I myself finding the answer as well. Few months ago they said we will get froyo by the end of September and now it's the end of October. Oh well

HTC themselve also cannot commit the time to release Froyo onto Legend

Just need to take note of your installed apps, myself only backup sms, the rest I think not very important.

Redo everything, you'll get used to it (actually it's pretty fun)

definitely a fun experience trying it for the first time...

so far, all the information provided are sufficient to successfully root the htc legend...

points to take note:
1. make sure htc sync is not running when performing any of the process

it is confirmed that all ROM version can be rooted by downgrading to 1.31.xxxx... i did mine from 2.05.707.1

mine is not lighting up right now. i wonder why..
