I was in M1 paragon just now, asking for U11+ demo unit. Apparently they have but not yet setup. So the CSO just handed to me the unit but unfortunately it's not yet charged. So I can only molest the unit without playing with it. Too bad, but I got a feeling it should be setup sometime next week.

I'm sure there less than 50 ppl in sg bought this phone. And I'm one of them, all I can say is that I'm very satisfied with this phone. Nothing to complain about. Screen is decent enough, camera n music quality iantop notch. Other than finding case for this phone is damn hard, I don't find any other reasons to complain about.

Not surprised here, those who ended up getting one happen to be those who have followed the developments of the Google "Muskie" project of Pixel 2 Series phones. Google have actually planned 3 Pixel 2 Devices codenamed "Walleye", "Muskie" and "Taimen" respectively, with the former two in advanced stages of development under way until Google abruptly cancelled "Muskie" apparently due to the lack of larger OLED screens by Samsung. As such the LG-developed "Taimen" replaces the original HTC-developed "Muskie" whose original internal specs already is superior to "Taimen", and ended up creating the LG-made Pixel 2 XL. "Walleye" became the HTC-made Pixel 2 in the same way.
The U11+ is confirmed by the HTC team in the United States as the result of HTC in Taiwan taking the design and hardware remains of the aborted "Muskie" and re-developed it further with their in-house technology and parts (U-Series liquid glass structure), making it essentially a "Muskie Reborn" phone.

Other than finding case for this phone is damn hard, I don't find any other reasons to complain about.
Maybe if you don't mind buying online you can try this one out: https://carousell.com/bandanaempire/?query=U11%20Plus

any bro notice this issue when enable battery saver will also disable background data set it to activate when battery is 15% but i noticed the background data also stopped working even when my battery is still @ 90%

It might be a battery optimization issue instead of the battery saver.
Check which app is not connected then go to your battery settings for the app to turn off the battery optimization.

noted, thanks .....i just wan feel handling with u11

who have use u11+ and play game?how about battery life

I use it to play a bit of mobile legends here and there in mid graphics settings. Got around 6 hours SOT, which is slightly about average i think. Thought would be higher with 3930mAh haha, but then again Razer phone at 4000mAh not that impressive also.

My short review of it if anyone is interested.
TL;DR version: Solid phone from HTC all things considered, but just a little bit late in release. If this was the U11, it would have been able to compete better with other similar phones like LG V30+, and Mate 10 Pro. Now? It's just too near Galaxy S9 already and new wave of devices that will be using the new SD 845.

I love watching your reviews man. Would you say the V30 or the U11+ is better? Screen wise and camera~

Haha. Thanks! Screen wise I actually still prefer the v30+'s screen for the AMOLED and the outdoor visibility. A little worried about longevity (burn in) but at least it's 2 years warranty here. Camera wise I think the main and camerac camera ismerater on the U11+, but the v30+ has that wide angle camera which is quite nice too.

Then the U11+ has the bigger battery size here and the UI seems a little nearer to stock and a tiny bit cleaner. It has stereo speakers too which is nice. But both are good phones though. Just preference. Lol.

Coming from the S8, I absolutely LOVE the U11+.
Only letdown for me is the screen. I am so used to the S8 screen that the U11+ screen seems a step down in terms of clarity for both indoor and particularly worse off outdoor.

But I do not use my phone outdoor all the time so I can live with it. Camera and Audio is a marked upgrade over any phone in the market as of today. I did consider waiting for the S9 but I just was sick of curved glass and Samsung's bloat. Samsung software is stable but just a ton of **** runs in the background for those that you do not even use.

This is definitely a keeper for a while and I hope HTC does better for their screens on the next release. And HTC Singapore should take their thumbs out of their jive asses and get updates into Singapore quickly. It is stupid that we are still on 1st release software and security updates since launch while others have newer firmware fixing bugs and newer security patches.

sorry, may i know which is user gcam or stock?
and all is auto mode?

In the metafile, if you see Google HTC U11+, it's gCam. If HTC HTC U11+, it's stock cam.

Only the Chinatown photos are from U11+. The rest are mainly from U11 with gCam.

Yes all full auto. Untouched. I have tried enhancing some photos, they look look really great.

Btw, I bought the HK version, becuase I wanted faster updates. Could not find a TW version that comes with warranty. The unit I bought came with shop one year warranty at no extra cost. Bought in KL.
