So when u get a whatsapp message, your screen turns on? I get that when I turn on the 'notifications turn on screen'. But I dun want that, I just want the whatsapp icon to appear without the whole screen lighting up. Is that possible?

Not sure about this. Does activating the always on display help? I don't know what information will show on the always on display. Date and time is definitely there, but not sure notification will show. For me I prefer the screen to switch on to help catch my attention when my phone is in silent mode.

Sigh kinda regret switching to a mate 10 pro. My apps has intermittent loads and as wl for whatsapps. Really irritating.

What kind of apps? I don't really get what you are saying.. Most of the apps I am using is working fine including WhatsApp.

Same here. Other than Bluetooth issue sometimes dropping I think this phone is very good!

Hi all, not sure if this question has been answered, theres too many pages

Just changed to the Mate 10 Pro, currently using the app drawer style home screen (used to it), but is there anyway to hide unused apps in the drawer? After downloading my apps it seems a little bit too clustered..

Thanks! and apologies if its been asked/answered before

Hi, I'm darn pretty interested in obtaining the phone. As I'll not be getting the phone through telcos, any recommendations on places/sites to get the phone?

Lazada is having 12.12 sales soon and I thought of getting it through there. Anybody have similar experiences to share?

I can give u multiple scenarios where double tap to wake or front sensor is more convenient and much faster too.

1) you are at home or work where the phone is on the table. Notifications came in, double tap to wake phone to see who message, unlock phone using front sensor and reply on the spot without even lifting ur phone. If messages are not important, ignore without waking the screen. Do note the timeout for double tap to wake screen for quick glance is much shorter than waking the phone just to check notifications.

2) your phone is mounted in the car holder and notifications came in. Double tap and see, front sensor unlock without having ur hand awkwardly place to located the back sensor and depending on ur car phone holder, you may not even access to the sensor easily resort to using pin or pattern to unlock

Yeah, double tap to wake and front sensor have their advantages and uses.

What sensor at back? Mate10 finger ID is in front.

I drive 10hrs each day so i can say the mate10 finger ID is excellent.

Previously i was using mi max and always tap to use/on phone. It's not as convenient as mate10 fingerprint.
