then u are better off getting a note 8 bro

Because other than the S Pen and its functionality, Mate10 triumphs over the Note series in my opinion. Someone asked if it is difficult to switch from Samsung to Huawei, and I merely highlighted the difference I felt between my old phone (note 4) and my current phone (mate10), and which part of the Samsung ecosystem that I missed that's all. Why should I be getting Note 8 if I'm generally more than satisfied with my Mate10?

Bros, thinking of the m10pro but read some reviews about issues with loading 3rd party launchers on it and incesaant associated issues like errors , apps trying to go back to the home launcher, notices keep asking u to go back default launcher etc

Is it a big issue? I not a fan of China launchers and usually put Google launcher or Nova

Thanks in advance

No issue with Nova Launcher with my Mate 10. I use it everyday! :D

Thanks. Already disabled it. But if press and hold the navigation button too long and return to home page the vibration will be there.

Couldn't find any other place to disable above scenario

Can m 10 users try and confirm?
Thanks

Just bought the pink Mate 10 Pro as a gift. There isn't any difference in the hardware between the pink set & the rest of the colours right?

Having installed FF. How to update ah.

Sent from HUAWEI BLA-L29 using GAGT

Search your model, should only show yours.

See all the available final, just look at those indicating FullOTA.

Typically just find the latest one, either 131 or 132.

Then check with IMEI to check if the firmware is approved for your specific device.

If it shows approved, then you can go ahead to update.

Press the proxy in app or something, it will install a VPN on your phone.

Just go and search as per normal, but will show you the available update, download and pause it once it's downloading.

Pull down your top bar, and disable your VPN.

Then resume download as per normal.

The VPN is to allow your phone to find the new firmware, but needs to be disabled prior to installation.

Which version to download?

Sent from HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro using GAGT

Don't use the download from that page.

Use the in-app proxy to trigger the normal download, and let the phone download itself.

Flow

Press the proxy in app or something, it will install a VPN on your phone.

Just go and search for update as per normal from settings, will show you the available update, download and pause it once it's downloading.

Pull down your top bar, and disable your VPN.

Then resume download as per normal.

The VPN is to allow your phone to find the new firmware, but needs to be disabled prior to installation.

Oh ok, I think I got it. Your VPN means manually setting your network proxy to localhost port 8080? I'm downloading now. Thanks.

Yeah, changing the proxy manually is one of the way, though now they can help you install a VPN setting.

Remember to pause the download and change back your network settings before download completion, if not I think there will be an error.

You just need to change it once to be able to "find" and start the download.

I had my mate 10 pro updated to 8.0.0.131 3 days ago but found that the battery drains a lot during standby time (idle for 8 hours, drains about 30%). Before the update it only drains 2 - 5%..

However after I enable flight mode then the battery usage become normal.. I tried both hard reset and factory reset but it remain the same problem.

Anyone have the same issue? or how do I downgrade the firmware? thanks.
