love my mate 20 pro, the notch add characteristics to the phone. fast charging ease the inconvenience of carrying a battery bank. bezel free screen is a beauty to behold.

My wife got the film for her Mate 20 Pro (Im still using P20 Pro, but reading here to update her, if she encounter any issues with her phone).
the film she got wraps to the back of the phone, so no issue on the curve edges.

What film is that? How is it so far? What kind of SP should I avoid if I am using Spigen Rugged Armour case?

Anyone using the mate 20 pro find that the usb c earpiece (supplied one) will auto disconnect after a few seconds if there is no music/sound playing? I have to remove and reconnect it to use the earpiece again, very irritating.

I found that using other normal 3.5mm earphones + usb c adapter doesn't have this disconnecting problem.

Any solution? My phone is only about 1 month old.

No what I meant is that the supplied usb-c earphones got disconnecting problem.

No issue with the usb c adapter with normal earphones.

No one else encountered this issue? I did search online and seems like others also encountered

Looks thick. One issue is if there is a gap between the front glass and glass protector, likely the touch screen feel won't be great

if u have high expectations of the cam then go with the p30 pro and don't compromise. my personal take of the mate 20 cam is it still wins most other cams out there, and considering price vs features, it's a steal.

Agreed that the vanilla Mate 20 (non-pro) is a bargain among flagships and some compromises have been made, perhaps in the camera department.

I just find that the image processing is a little weird and not true to life. Sometimes, facial complexion become quite splotchy and results looks funny. I had to disable a lot of Huawei’s image beautification and DON’T ENABLE VIVID MODE.

But yes, sometimes the images rendered can be sharp as hell.

I’m also quite impressed by the video stablization. It may only be electronic but WOW. I used it to capture children at play and it was ridiculously stable.

I'm using a 8gb / 256GB mate 20 x
While I havent really tested the screen on time, so far I haven't been able to exhaust the battery within a day, usually left 40 percent or more at the end of the day with heavy usage
