Nope. It doesn't work this way. For in display fingerprint only Samsung can do it. Optical fingerprint need the screen to be on.

I don't need to turn on the screen first though.

For my p30, when my finger goes near the off screen, the fingerprint sensor area detects my finger and a symbol lights up to process the fingerprint. I didn't have to turn on the screen first. I don't use always on display too

Same for me.

For those with the p30 pro, the always on display only limited to time display, as in it unable to display gif animation like samsung?

Hi Guys,

Quick question, i've just re-contract for HW P30 Pro and planning to use the default clear casing that comes with it.

What is the recommended screen protector and where to get it? The screen protector must stay intact and not push out by the default casing.

Good sensitively... and stuffs.

Thanks!

There's a thread on accessories FYI. For me I had one from a neighbourhood shop, requires uv activated glue. But the seller keeps telling me not to use the cover or it'll come out. I'm on the stock cover anyway, and one corner has indeed started to peel, though I'm not sure if it's because it wasn't applied correctly or really due to the cover.

For facial recognition, do you guys need to wake the screen via button at the side or tapping on screen first? Mine does.

Yeah the screen needs to be on first for facial recognition to work.

Anybody using wireless charging? I can pick up fast wireless 10w chargers for 20 bucks on the Chinese Web stores but Supercharge is so stupidly fast there's no point going wireless

Go fb search mobilelite and my set is used as his model.
My spigen case is that wee bit too tight so changed to his clear case.
To be fair, I prefer my spigen case but LL due to SP
Got the same tg screen protector from MobileLite.Really worth the money!!!Cheaper and yet bested others.

I don't see any point in wireless charging. Slow and cannot use phone while charging.

I agree that wireless chargers are abit pointless. The supercharge is blindingly fast and outweights any convenience wireless charging offers.

You can trigger the option to wake screen upon
lifting phone for face unlock (iPhone started this feature), this feature flows best with face unlock imo

May I check if anybody receive the Huawei GT Watch (FTN-B19), an old model, instead of Huawei GT Active Watch from Starhub?
